Phenomenal staff.

Unbelievable staff, very very helpful in all regards( booking activities, helping organize travel and introducing us to like-minded people). Very great staff. The Medina is a confusing place and we did have a tough time finding this place, as the narrow corridors are too tight for a taxi - which we did not expect. An oversight for sure on our end,but we figured it out after a few wrong turns. Be sure to download an offline map if you dont have cell service

We loved our stay at Riad Les Jardins de Mouassine. The location was perfect for our short stay in Marrakech. We truly enjoyed the new year's eve dinner - the food was plentiful and delicious. Everyone at the Riad was helpful and worked hard to ensure we had a comfortable stay. We were treated as valued guests. I highly recommend this property and I would definitely stay here again.

Das Riad ist sehr zentral gelegen in der Medina und versteckt in einer kleinen Gasse - dadurch ist es besonders ruhig. Zugang um Riad haben nur Gäste und Personal. Der Innenhof wird im Winter genutzt, um Frühstück zu servieren. Durch die sehr liebevolle Einrichtung fühlt man sich sehr wohl. Neben einem kleinen Pool befindet sich auch ein Hammam im Erdgeschoss. Es ist einfach traumhaft, nach der hektischen Stadt im Hammam zu entspannen. Die Dachterrasse mit diversen Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten ist super, um abzuschalten und Sonne zu tanken. Zudem kann man die Stadt von oben sehen. Mein Zimmer war sehr schön - da es innenliegende Zimmer sind, sind sie etwas dunkel. Aber im Sommer garantiert auch vorteilhaft. Im Notfall hilft die Aircondition, um die Temperatur nach oben oder unten zu regeln. Das Bad war sehr groß. Das einzige Manko war die Dusche: man hatte nicht die Möglichkeit, den Duschkopf aufzuhängen, sondern musste ihn ständig halten. Zudem war das Wasser nicht besonders heiß, was im Winter etwas gefehlt hat. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Me gustó la ubicación del Riad. Muy bonito y acogedor. Tiene una gran confortabilidad de lcama y almohadas. Desayuno normal , destacando el zumo de naranja. El personal muy agradable, aunque no muy contentos con la excursión recomendada, pues creo que hubiera salido más económica y mejor ( Guia en español) de haberla cogido por otro lado.

Nous n'étions pas venus depuis 20 ans et nous souhaitions faire découvrir à nos deux ados Marrakech au coeur de la Medina. Beaucoup de choses ont changé et nous recherchions un endroit encore préservé sans tomber dans les clichés de palaces luxueux et éloignés du coeur de la ville. Plein de beaux souvenirs inoubliable pour nous tous dans ce riad authentique, autonome pour notre famille juste à côté du Riad principal. On se serait cru chez soi. Très bon accueil. Chaque chambre disposait de sa salle de bain (sauf une communicante entre deux chambres). Robinetteries à moderniser peut-être bientôt? RDV avec cuisine et patio (à cette période malheureusement le jacuzzi était vidé or la température extérieure fin octobre n'est pas caniculaire...). Nous disposions de notre propre terrasse sur le toit. Très bon petit déjeuner sur le toit du riad principal. Endroit très calme à deux pas de la frénésie des souks et de la place Jemaa el fna. Très central. Merci pour tout!

Hidden down winding narrow alleyways, a non-descript door opens into a lovely spacious Riad, created from 4 individual Riad residences. The overall effect is awesome, it's very attractive and comfortable. Staff are attentive and you are 1 minute on foot from the bustling souk.

Schönes Riad in der Medina

Wie hatten am zweiten Tag ein sehr schönes Zimmer mit eigener (Dach)Terasse, dort haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Personal hat sich auch sehr um uns bemüht. Das Riad liegt direkt in der Medina, man muss durch einige Gassen gehen, um dorthin zu gelangen. Es ist aber alles sehr sicher, sodass das kein Problem war.

Definitely not what reviews tells you. This is our 6rh visit Morocco and this is worst Riad we have been slept. Location is good, only 6 minutes away from Médina Central Square. Wifi works well. Breakfast is very small, and everything is finish all the time. No depending what time you come to breakfast. Cochroaces in the room. Shower head won't stay where it should stay. Room are very small. This is not traditional, beautiful Riad what we use to use. Personnel try to be polite, no problems with them. They try their best.

Dejligt ophold midt i Medinaen i Marrakech. Man skal vælge det for oplevelsen, ikke komforten, og i februar er der ikke varmt ;-) Dejlig serviceminded personale, der gør alt for at det bliver et godt ophold. Havde to overnatninger inden vi tog videre til et nyere hotel i Gueliz-bydelen.

Charming Riad

We arrived having the same experience we had in Tangier only this time the cabbie called some youths to meet us at the gate rather than take us close to our destination. He tried to take us for five times the cab fare and we gave him half what we wanted, but the youths tried to take us for the rest after a scary experience of their following us around insisting that they know the way to the riad and after we gave them both what seemed like a reasonable tip they threatened my wife as she followed me inside. The front desk clerk was helpful and he even helped me configure my phone for a Moroccan SIM card, which was a lifesaver. The room was beautiful but the riad was cold and the heater did not work, which made for cold nights which was bad since we were getting sick. The carpet was loaded with filth but otherwise the room was made everyday, towels and soap were provided, and breakfast was decent with olives and bread and fresh orange juice. The door to our room was concerning since there was a bolt on the outside of the door to lock from the outside and only from the outside, so, yeah, that's scary but I noticed that other rooms have keyed locks. The WiFi was almost useless and would be shut off for unknown reasons and the hot water was shut off later in the morning. But we were the only people in the riad for a few nights and we were impressed with the hospitable staff. The bed was the best in Morocco and would give it 5/5 but for the lack of heat.

Close to the medina sights

It's a decent riad in Marrakech, you might find more lavish ones outside, but for a location in the medina, it is pretty good! Rooms are quaint, you have to remove the shower drain caps, if you do not want water collecting around your legs :) i really liked the hospitality of the staff, especially shoaib, he was amazing and helpful, with any questions or ordering eggs for breakfast up on the terrace. Terrace doesn't have much of a view, but has birds chirping and is a nice break from the medina. We also picked up the airport shuttle, but we did not know that we have to pay some man to take a cart with our luggage inside the medina gate. It's not a problem to pay 20-40 mad, but it would have been good to know about this beforehand. With cabin bags, we did return from our desert tour and just walk 10-15 mins to the riad. Shoaib was also helpful in keeping our big bags at the hotel, for the duration of our desert tour. Overall would recommend this riad for the staff (shoaib) and cooks.
