Stepping into the courtyard you immediately feel peace and quiet. It’s a paradise in the middle of the bus Medina. Location is great as it’s walking distance from the Bahia palace and Jemma el Fna. The place is clean and unique. The staff is very friendly and Hayat (manager) is amazing! She makes sure everything is taken care of. I would highly recommend a stay.
Dar les Cigognes is superb, the staff is helpful, attentive and generous in the care they show for the guest. I have been many times to Marrakech and this stay was way above all other experiences. Kuddos to all the staff for the loving care they gave to my family and I. Much appreciated.

One of the best stays we’ve experienced. The staff was amazing. Rooms immaculate. Design simple but chic. Highly recommend.
Very friendly staff who couldn´t do enough for us. The food was a little disappointing but that could be because we do not know Moroccan cuisine.
The restaurant is alcohol-free including no beer.
The room was very comfortable with good air conditioning.
Very good location and easy to get around.
I am so glad we chose Dar les Cigognes for our four night stay in Marakech. We loved everything about it. The riad itself is so beautiful; peaceful, restful and cool. The roof terasse is a wonderful place to relax and take coffee and meals. The rooms are very well equipped with lovely big, comfy beds. The locationis perfect, just outside the city walls, with every attraction within easy walking distance. Special mention goes to the staff:Hayst, the Manager, and Hajiba the Concierge are so warm and welcoming and genuinely enjoy making sure that your stay in Marakech is a delightful as possible. They are supremely knowledgable about all thr local attractions and will arrange cars or taxis for any and all necessary transfers or excursions. Our waiter was Abdo and he was soattentive and caring and sweet. Which brings me to the food: it really is the best we found in Marakech - honestly I would recommend esting exclusively at the riad, as the quality and setting is unsurpassed in the city.
My wife and I also enjoyed a vigorous and rejuvenating hammam bath, expertly applied by Amina, who was as lovely as all the team in the riad.
I have travelled very extensively over decades and can honestly say I have never enjoyed a property and hospitality so much as I have here - if you are planning a stsy in Marakech you MUST stay at Dar les Cigognes.
The reviews are accurate. This is a great small hotel to use as a base for a few days in Marrakech. Service is excellent. Food so good that we ate dinner once and lunch once as well as every breakfast. Just wish there was a pool. Enjoyed the Hammam as well.
I did not plan to stay here, but I was allocated Dar Les Cigognes because another booking had problems. However it was absolutely fantastic. A haven of peace and tranquility with very kind and attentive staff giving excellent food and drink. Incredibly hospitable.
This Riyad is an oasis. The second one steps from the road and into Dar Les Cigognes one is transported to another time, with effusive greetings, delicious peppermint tea, personalised attention and the aroma of rose petals. The guests are brilliant, the architecture is splendid, the food is sensational as is the entire staff, including Mme Hayat, Hajiba, Abdoud, Youssef, Aziz, Hamid and of course Khadiya.
I can’t imagine being at a better locale than Dar Les Cigonws. Hayat and the rest of the team were more than first rate — they made you feel like cherished family. The property is immaculate and well appointed. The location is tremendous - close enough to easily and quickly walk to any place in the Medina, but not right in the middle where it would be loud for all hours.
This was, literally, one of the best experiences of my life, and I have been to over 60 countries.
We are so happy we chose to stay at Dar Les Digognes!! It was a peaceful oasis in the middle of busy Marrakech. Everyone that worked at this beautiful Riad did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. We have traveled to nearly 50 countries and have seldom if ever felt more welcomed. We already miss the wonderful friends we made while we were there. A special thank you to Hayat and Hajiba who helped make our whole trip extra special! We miss you both.
We spent good amount of time until we found the hotel.
Room is extremely dark and too small.
Breakfast is 20 USD per person which is too expensive.
They park your car to a near parking then you have deal with the guy in the parking and he is asking you to pay 5 times more than usual price.
There is no tv no kettle.
Stairs are too narrow.
Staff is very friendly.
The pro’s of this property is the room is comfortable and has everything needed, and the hotel is close to attractions and dining options. Unfortunately the wifi is weak on the second floor where my room was and on the last night while I was eating in the restaurant, I was given an envelope by the manager to put my tip in when I checked out the next day, I was then asked 2 more times about the tip by the manager. This is very poor manners, pushy and made me feel very uncomfortable. A tip should be at the guests discretion, not forced! I hope they take this feedback onboard and change this behaviour.

Great place in a central location with very friendly staff. They're around all the time and assist with anything you might need. Clean, very good standard.
Our stay at Dar Les Cignognes was wonderful. The staff there are among the best I've seen, anywhere. They really make you feel like family. The rooftop patio is a great, quiet oasis from the craziness of the city. It's a lovely, traditional Road. Very intimate.
In terms of location, it's great. About 10 minutes walk from the Jemaa el Fna. Very close to the palaces.
They offer all kinds of options - cooking classes, massages, fine dining. My wife had a massage and loved it.
I highly recommend Dar Les Cignognes!
The staff is very helpful, make you fell like family. The rooms are very clean and full of details and convenience to make the guest fell at home. Very happy with the beautiful hotel.

I had plans to stay at this property but unfortunately I was in an accident, sprained my foot, and had to be on crutches for 2 weeks. This hotel was not understanding at all and would not refund my hotel (not even partially). Hotels that don’t have any compassion or care for their guests’ health or well-being don’t deserve anyone’s business.
Hayyat and the whole team were very helpful, friendly and discrete and really went out of their way to make our stay in the riad and in Marrakech as enjoyable as possible.
The riad is splendid, the atmosphere is quiet and familiar and it is also well located to explore the medina
The hotel was fantastic but what most sets this place apart is the incredible hospitality. From the managers to the kitchen staff - they made us feel so welcome and appreciated. We loved our stay and would come back in a heartbeat!
A beautiful and tranquil oasis in the medina. We enjoyed a relaxing Hammam and massage as well as the cookery school. The food is wonderful.

ARNAQUE ??
