An amazing stay at The George and Dragon

There was a of attention to small details, which made my stay unique and relaxing. The bed was really comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. Wish I was there for longer!

The room and bathroom were tiny but clean. Extremely cold and I had no instructions for controlling the heat which was constantly on “standby”. Upon arrival I stood in pouring rain ringing entry bell with no response. A kind passer-by went inside the restaurant to alert them. A sign for hotel reception would have been helpful. Staff were friendly and I had great support when my suitcase padlock required cutting off! Nobody was around to assist with taking my suitcases downstairs on departure.

The check-in lady was welcoming rooms just refurbished, comfy bed, lovely welcoming hand written note with chocolates. Shower quite small but overall beautifully decorated. Quiet with AC
