"Absolutely beautiful scenery and very close to Berchtesgaden hiking, lake and other points of interest. The room itself is spacious and very modern, in contrast to the outside of the hotel which looks like most of the charming and traditional Alpine houses that are common to the region. "Staff was great - very pleasant and helpful. Complimentary water was a nice touch. Location is excellent: about 3 minutes from the train station. Walking distance to some superb restaurants. Easy to take a bus into the center of the old town. Everything functioned properly. The shower floor was super slippery - had to put the bath mat for the floor in the shower so that we didn’t slip and fall."
