"We stayed in a two bedroom condo with “lake view”. I would call it a canal view or maybe a water view. Instead, we had a full view of the parking ramp in front of us. Still a great view of the Amsoil Arena and DECC area, but limited water view of the shipping ports. Kitchen was very nice and stocked well. The three TVs were not 100% functional, but the beds were AMAZING. We slept very well, and even though I-35 is less than a block away, the condo is very quiet. Two negative items, you have no control of the temp in the condo even though there are thermostats in all three rooms. It got very warm - especially in the mornings with the sun shining directly in the living room. Unloading/loading your car and parking is not convenient. You have to park on the street and put on your hazard lights while you check in and unloading your luggage due to metered street parking. You are given a $10 a day parking option that is on the next block. You can access the parking lot from the Maurice’s building, but the lobby closes at 7 PM during the week. I’m not sure what happens on the weekends, but if it is after hours, you have to walk up a half block and then walk into the entrance of the parking lot to get to your car. This is OK if you have good weather, but not during a cold winter stay. There is a parking lot across the street in front of the hotel that would be convenient, but costs much more to park there. I would recommend giving this hotel a try. "
