"We had a disappointing stay overall.
It was quite challenging to make a dinner reservation, and unfortunately, we regretted dining there. We were seated near families with young children, so the atmosphere was not as relaxing as we had hoped due to the constant noise and screaming. We would have appreciated being informed in advance that the dining area was very family-oriented so we could have decided whether it suited the experience we were looking for. The food was also quite expensive and ultimately underwhelming, as the flavors were lacking.
The private onsen was more like a one-person bath on the balcony rather than a traditional private onsen experience, though it was enjoyable nonetheless.
The room itself was clean, and the beds were comfortable. However, the in-room amenities and products were more limited than what we have experienced at less expensive hotels.
Overall, no one asked about our experience or whether we had enjoyed our stay. There was also construction near the hotel, and we did not see any notice about the noise when booking. As a result, it would have been difficult to enjoy the outside bath during the day.
For a hotel of this caliber and at this price point, we were quite disappointed and will not be returning to any Indigo Hotels in the future."
