Very Good

Beautiful suite and the hot tub was so appreciated after hiking in the highlands. Staff were friendly and dinner at the restaurant was incredible. We weren’t able to book dinner online, but they ensured we were able to attend in arrival. We had a wonderful stay. The view from the hot tub was gorgeous!
Lovely self catering apartment with stunning views over to Skye.
Very friendly staff throughout the hotel and the restaurant food was excellent.

The view from the hotel room was spectacular. However, there were some shortcuts in the room that were disappointing. There was a towel heating rack that was on but didn't work and a heater in the room with a melted control knob. This gave us cause for concern with electrical problems. The hotel restaurant also had horrible service, but great food as I have posted about previously. There was a bit of a wait for checkout due to traffic too and from the train station with many parties checking in or out at the same time. Mallaig is a great town off the beaten path, though.

Unassuming property on the hill overlooking the bay. Lovely bar and lounge area. Nice restaurant with tasty fresh food. Bar area comfortable and welcoming with games provided. Staff all very pleasant , welcoming and friendly. We were in third floor , no lift so not suitable if you can’t manage stairs. Looks like partially upgraded with communal areas and halls nice. We were in a cosy double which had a lovely sea aspect however the room decor could have done with a bit of improvement. Had been painted but the finer details were lacking and the seal of the window was taped over. Bathroom was modern but shower disappointing as poor flow. Other guests remarked to management about this aswell. Bed was a small double but comfortable.
We didn’t bother with breakfast as we thought quite expensive on top of a rather expensive room.
The best bits are the bar, lounge , restaurant and friendly staff. The lacking bit is room decor and shower.
Lovely hotel. We were only there for 1 night but ill be back its very clean nd beautiful decor. We didnt have dinner but breakfast was great.staff very good and friendly
Great place to spend the night while exploring the small town of Mallaig. Next time I’ll book during summer when more ferry routes align with train schedules. Beautiful hotel and beautiful scenery!

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Parking good. Downstairs lounge/bar area was good. Dinner was really great. Place needed some TLC.second floor rooms less than great. Most of staff were good.
The hotel was clean, nice bar area, easy distance to the ferry and convenient parking. Only downside was loud music from the bar until it closed which was midnight
Excellent hotel , very relaxed atmosphere , super friendly staff and the breakfast was brilliant , very convenient for the ferry terminal which is just round the corner
Clean hotel with helpful staff located in beautiful area overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Great service and nearby ferry to Isle of Skye
Service was excellent. Dinner was great. Room was spacious but hotel is an older decor. The views are amazing and location to the morning ferry was so convenient
