Snappy little hotel

Located close to ferry terminal, two minutes walk. Local restaurants near by, bed comfortable, great air con and strong shower. Staff at reception were lovely and helpful. Place is a bit old but it’s kept clean and beds and towels all clean and good condition. Ideal for 3:30am ferry, place to stop and rest.

The hotel is nice and modern and clean. The staff is very courteous and helpful. Nice restaurant on the roof with a view. But, the surrounding area is nothing to look at. Just a parking and loading area for the wharf. It is a good place to stay overnite because it walking distance to the ferry.

The only downside is the entrance area floods when it rains so entering and exiting the building is interesting. Maybe the burangay will help fix this problem.

Stay started with an early morning check-in attempt that was lacking the hospitality the Philippines is known for. Was told there were no rooms available for early check in. Once dayshift front desk arrived; she magically produced keys for an early check in. The catch being that it would cost P200 for every hour prior to normal check in. Being a family owned hotel recommended by friends and family for it's hospitality was surprised that they would not budge on the fee being applied to the 3 reserved rooms. We waited until almost 12:30 pm when they decided to let us check in. The rooms are rather spacious but need updating. The sliding door to the balcony took two people to open The drapes were hard to move bcoz they were on a curtain rod too big to let the rings slide freely. We found a cigarette butt under the drapes of a non smoking room. The a/c unit was dirty and blowing dirt on to the head of each bed. The bathroom was small but the shower is right next to the toilet without even a shower curtain for seperation. This is what I call a provincial bathroom. This hotel is best suited for a one night stay if you are here for the airport or ferry port. It's sad their check in policy takes advantage of that by charging an hourly fee for every hour prior to normal check in. Guests arrive at every hour of the day and they told us it was a liability issue but if thats the case; they should refund accordingly for every hour you check out early. It's a money issue and nothing else.

L'hôtel était ok pour une nuit. Le matelas était confortable, il y avait un nid d'oiseaux dans le plafond de la salle de bain (chambre 501), demandez une autre chambre. Très pratique car seulement à 5 minutes à pieds du port de Caticlan. Il y a un restaurant/café sur le toit avec une belle vue pour les couchés de soleil.

J'ai séjourné 1 nuit dans cet hôtel car j'avais un avion tôt le lendemain. La réceptionniste était très souriante et avenante. Elle a bien pris soin de moi en me réservant un tuktuk pour 6h du matin le lendemain. Elle avait également prévu un petit déjeuner à emporter. La chambre était confortable et bien agencée. Ma chambre avait une belle vue sur la mer. Au 5eme étage, il y a un bon restaurant duquel on peut regarder le coucher du soleil.

Bättre än förväntat trevlig personal, tråkig omgivning, mysig restaurang på rooftop begränsad meny men gott det som serverades. Vi valde hotellet pga tidig avgång med flyg.

飛行機待ちの為泊まってませんが、近くを散策して、汗をかいたのでシャワーだけ浴びましたが、シャワー室とトイレの段差が無くシャワーしたらトイレの床まで水浸し、足拭きタオルも無く室内までビチャビチャになりましたが、安くてそこそこ広かったので良かったかと思います

Wonderful Hotel by the Port

By far the nicest hotel in Caticlan and definitely the cleanest. Comfortable bed, no bed bugs, balcony facing the sea, whisper quiet aircon, good selection of tv channels, so many positives. To top it off, literally, is a nice restaurant on the roof. Squid was delicious. Do yourself a favour and stay a night or three.
