While we only stayed one night at the Inn, I'd love to come back. The building is incredible, with rich history and interesting rooms. Staff were fantastic and the location outstanding.

Wonderful hotel

A wonderful experience in a proper hotel. Excellent ambience from the moment you enter. Very relaxed, very old & thoughtfully decorated to reflect the history. Superb breakfast, supported by Ruby!

Excellent attentive service by the hosts. We arrived late but the host still managed to accommodate evening dinner when the kitchen was closing. Just what we needed after a tiring day. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and full of character. Definitely will stay again if passing.

Had a lovely 1 night stay at this hotel with my daughter when visiting friends. Hotel was very clean, perfectly situated for exploring the area, staff were so welcoming and friendly (we especially loved Ruby the dog at breakfast) We would like to return in summer for a longer stay.

Beautifull venue, great and very friendly personell. Great room. One minor point, we had a room in the attic and with 30+ and only a ventilator is was very very hot for a long time into the night. But that is the only minor point the staff made up for it in friendlyness and service.

Although we did not have hot water for the night we arrived, they immediately resolved the issue first thing in the morning. Took it seriously and did not sit on it and apologized for the inconvenience. Great staff, quiet environment, and good food, we will definitely return.

Loved it. Room was adequate (once you’ve got used to all the creaks and bumps). This is a 16th century building in all its glory. Food was plentiful, well cooked and hot. Although our room over looked an island there was no problem with road noise. There was plenty of parking front and rear. Cannot sing it’s praises enough, in fact we’ll be going back just as soon as we can. Loved it!
