Excellent location relative to bus service to Machu Picchu. They have a bus stop within about 30 feet of the hotel. The rooms overlook the river. Our 4th floor room had a balcony (shared with adjacent room). The river is LOUD! There’s no AC or fan, but temp was ok for us in March. No elevator, so be prepared to climb. Bed was comfy and the property appears to have been renovated relatively recently. Good breakfast. Very friendly staff.

I was expecting a little more to the room considering the price. That being said, it’s a great location. It’s across from the town tourist photo sign. The raging river is right behind that. Fun to watch the hikers walk by. It’s right at the end of a 4 day Inca trail hike. They’ll put a smile on your face!!

We had a great stay, location was perfect and walkable and quiet. Right in front of the river which sounded amazing. Great water pressure and warm shower. The staff here were incredibly friendly and helpful! The room was spacious and had complimentary tea & bottled water when we arrived. The breakfast was adequate, the balcony was lovely & the beds were comfortable! Location was perfect, just a short uphill walk to get to the train/bus station and main square!
