"It’s an amazing looking hotel, lots of period features in the main building and nice views over the gardens. Our room was in the ‘new’ block. It was a good size, bed was comfortable, kettle, iron ironing board hair-drier all there. It did feel a bit tired though, especially the bathroom and it took a couple of attempts to get the shower hot. But it all seemed clean and for the price we paid I was happy enough"

"I had booked the wrong date of my stay, but was made to feel welcome and luckily could accommodate us that night instead. The room was clean, spacious and airy. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The parking although small was available. The breakfast was fantastic such a great choice and lovely cooked food, and prompt service. Great location to the beach, shops and restaurants- will definitely be back thank you."

"Hotel: beautiful decorated. Amazing vibe, the floral design is very chic and adorable. Hotel room: (Junior Suite) highly recommend!! The apartment was just beautiful. Spacious, high ceilings and very roomy. I felt like i wanted to move in and live there long term. Beds and pillows were lovely to sleep in. Showers in both rooms are spacious and good pressure. All amenities within the rooms were available. Very clean! Would definitely stay again. Gym: really good facilities for cardio and free weights! Pool: Warm and spacious! The hot tub was amazing. The sauna wasnt on at the time, but the steam room is pretty good too. Overall - 10/10. Made wonderful memories, and enjoyed every element of the stay. Very close to the beach, seafront, and shops. You won't regret it!! X"

"Family focused hotel with facilities to match but for a business traveller the new Spa, Gym and Pool are a real bonus and rooms are comfortable and quiet. Great beach front location as well for evening walks or runs"

"Staff at the Doric are very friendly and efficient. The full breakfast was great with some other choices. single room was good with a 3/4 bed, bathroom was a full bath with shower, over, so could have been a problem for some older folks. Bar and breakfast area nice with view of prom. Hallways to rooms a bit dated and could use a paint update.. I did not attend any entertainment, however there was something on each night. All staff I encountered were very helpful. "
