The hotel is conveniently located near the railway station, and the staff was kind. The bed was comfortable, but the building is in serious disrepair: curtains hanging off the rails, broken ceiling panels, peeling paint, loose bathroom tiles, and heavily worn carpets in the hallways. It feels like no maintenance has been done in years, which really overshadows the positives.

Good for a short stay

Close to the train station, but not close to much else (walking distance). The room seemed old and in need of a renovation, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable.

I couldn’t wait to leave this hotel. I actually got up early just to get out. It without doubt is the worst I’ve ever stayed in. Water leaking from the ceiling. Carpet filthy. Building in bad state of repair. Bed was desperately uncomfortable. With the bars from the sofa bed coming through the mattress. I had to remove it’s and sleep on the floor. And in spite of advertising a restaurant and bar, they weren’t open. Staff however were very pleasant and polite.

This is a really dirty and very poorly maintained hotel. Worst hotel I ever seen in my life. The lobby and the restaurant look nice, front desk agents are really kind and helpful but when you walk upstairs to reach your room, there are molds everywhere ( on the ceilings, in the hallways, in the bath…), ceiling is about to fall, the rug is really dirty and broken in several places in the hallways. I visited two other rooms to try to find something better but they were all the same… There is dust and molds everywhere in this hotel. During our stay, we heard so many clients complaining about the housekeeping and the poor condition of their room… most were reporting unclean rooms and housekeeping not done before their arrival. This hotel should definitely close to be renovated

The worst hotel we have ever been to. Before our trip, we emailed the reception twice but they never responded. The parking behind the hotel is shady and so narrow that it is very hard to navigate with a medium size car (and I it does not seem like a large car would even fit). The reception area looks nice, but our actual floor was just disgusting. Torn and ratty carpets, water dripping from the ceiling in multiple places, everything stained and attrited. The rooms were battered and time-worn beyond anything we have every seen in any other hotel. The pictures on the website must be from decades ago, they do not reflect the actual state of our floor and our room at all. We felt disgusted and we can only recommend you to stay away from this place.

This property was unacceptable. I have been waiting since Monday for a response regarding this dirty, dark, problematic property. The staff told us 1/2 out of air-conditioning systems worked in our 2-bedroom apartment, when in reality, the A/C didn't work in the entire building. Then, another employee said, actually no A/C at all. Ceiling tiles falling out, non-functioning shower fixture. I will never use Expediat again until this situation is rectified and I am refunded for both rooms.

Hostel part 4

I should have read more reviews before booking. Firstly we arrived at 10pm as we had travelled from Calais. We pre arranged a parking space at the hotel and was told to pay on arrival. On arrival we found out the parking was 20-30 minutes walk away. They say it’s 10 minutes I can assure you it is not. After going back and forth and finding out that in fact there was a car park at the hotel but it was full, and asking how it could be full when we have pre arranged a space. The lady on reception told us we had booked it to late (the same day) so we said no we booked it 3 days ago and showed her the confirmation messages. The reception area was filthy, honestly my wife kept asking what on earth I had booked. There was flying ants all inside, landing all over us as we were talking. Eventually after a heated 25 minute discussion about the parking they reluctantly gave us the code for the parking and laughed kept saying it’s full…. Well guess what it wasn’t full. We had the choice of 4/5 spaces. We headed up to the room… I CANNOT stress enough when I say do NOT look at the ceilings… as there isn’t any! The electrical wires are handing out most of them. Ceiling panels missing. Ripped carpets. I was honestly convinced I was going to wake up in the night to find my wife and children gone! We have stayed in hostels that look 5* to this place! The apartment itself a has so much potential as our room was 2 level and very big. But dirty! Beds comfy. But wouldn’t visit again.

Bon accueil avec un vin chaud excellent et un personnel disponible. J'ai réservé pour 4 adultes et il n'y avait que 2 serviettes. L'appartement est tout simplement inacceptable ! La peinture est écaillée dans toutes les pièces avec des trous au mur, les meubles de la cuisines sont également vieux et abimés, nous n'avons pas voulu nous assoir sur un canapé taché (auréoles dégoutantes) et à l'hygiène douteuse. Les rideaux sont pleins de poussière ! Il y a des tâches dans la salle de bain au plafond et dans les WC. La lunettes des WC est également écaillée... Bref, il y a une incroyable différence entre un haul d'entrée, un restaurant très beau et accueillant et cette chambre vétuste. Tout est à refaire et vraiment une réhabilitation s'impose. Impossible d'ouvrir les fenêtres. Heureusement, point positif, la literie était bonne. Mais vraiment je ne recommande pas ce lieu. Les photos des chambres sur le site de réservation sont mensongères ! Nous ne nous sommes pas senties à l'aise dans cet "appartement" dégradé, vieillot et sale

Appartement dégradé sur les murs et les portes. Des trous partout. Vaisselle insuffisante alors que nous étions 6. Le personnel n'était pas surpris de mon mécontentement. L'enseigne ne fait aucun travaux si dégradations des derniers clients. Pour une valeur de près de 400€, c'est vraiment du vol de se retrouver dans un logement dégradé ! Les jolies photos sur le site sont de la publicité mensongère ! Je ne recommande vraiment pas cet établissement. A bannir de vos listes !!!!
