Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Charged for the use of the mini bar even though we didnt take anything.
Small holes in bed linen upon arrival.
Relaxation room, the paintwork was terrible.
Slow service all round.Service charge to room is 12.5 percent, slightly inflated for something that shouldnt exist.
However nice big bed, attentive staff in main diner.Hydro pool nice touch although children not allowed.Lovely breakfast and main meal.Pools were excellent.
I would not stay here again considered this is a four star hotel.I have stayed in much more tranquil three stars unfortunately.

We booked for 4 nights via Expedia but stayed only 3 nights due to our commitments
Check in was smooth and they took £ 100security deposit without any inventory check in
As NICI is anew company and still doing construction and tiding up some facilities like pool is under construction
Staff is welcoming and polite
Check out was not smooth due tech error and some staff lack of experience and training could not do transaction hence we were held up for payment and inventory check out
Macdonald resort was pet free but NICI
Pet friendly
Thankyou
Our visit to the NICI in Lymington came after a family bereavement and we were so incredibly lucky to meet Wendy from the NICI reception / conceirge team who gave us such a warm and compassionate welcome. By the end of our stay we were completely transformed and any issues that arose during our stay were resolved very quickly. We look forward to our next stay
This hotel is still a building site. Do yourself a favor and read the recent Google reviews before deciding to stay here. I'm sure in 12 months' time, when complete, this will be a fantastic hotel, but right now it should not be open to paying guests.
Hotel was not ready to open. A hotel resort and spa, without a swimming pool, spa or restaurant. We arrived promptly for check-in at 1500, as per guidelines, only for the receptionist to inform us that housekeeping was still working on the room. After a 50 minute wait in sweltering heat without chairs, it was clear that it was not housekeeping delaying the process, but rather that the room was still under construction. Most notably apparent from the heavy scent of varnish on entry (leaving us lightheaded after an hour in the room) and the door a) not working and b) being fixed on the wrong way round (with the identifying number on the inside).
Staff made limited efforts to amend the situation: notifying us a few days before that none of the facilities were open, and attempting to compensate for this with a bottle of Prosecco. They also moved our luggage to another room when ours was clearly not fit for purpose later that night. This was not a stay worth £430 for two nights. Incredibly disappointing.
