Minor details: 1. Unable to use safe, battery was probably dead. Never called since we had a short stay. 2. Never had to use the phone, but the room number on it was one digit off from our room. Plus side: Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Room was quiet.

We are on a 3 week trip through Mississippi and Texas with stops in Kentucky, Alabama, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Missouri, staying mostly at Hampton Inns since we are traveling with a small dog. The Lubbock location was the nicest layout we've seen for the hotel and room itself. We visited family, the Windmill Museum and the Ranching Museum at Texas Tech plus several shopping areas on the south side. We found this location in Lubbock made it easy to get around town, to a grocery and to TTU when needed.
