Maybe it was bad karma....
Maybe it was bad karma, but maybe it was the open, bungalow-type layout of the hotel wings and the utter darkness and the frat house atmosphere here, that resulted in our travel bag with all our running stuff being stolen from in front of our room door while my back was turned for a few minutes. The girl at the desk couldn't have cared less, which aggravated me no end. There was noise and student parties going on all night, and then the pipes started droning at 4 am - in short, any time I want to lay awake mad all night I'll book this place. Otherwise, NOT!
Our meeting was over before we planned, so we returned home without using the room. Good thing, because it was hot and the AC did not work. We just used the room to change our clothes.
The hotel was beautiful and the staff was great. It was a bit confusing to find though (maybe better signage?). The screen door was also off the hinges. Needed to be fixed but the beds were very comfortable and the patio was a great addition!!!!!

BEAUTIFUL VIEW
I WAS DISAPPOINTENT WHEN I CHECKED IN AT 3:00 AND MY ROOM HAD NOT YET BEEN STARTED TO CLEANED. I WAITED ANOTHER HOUR AND 15 MINUTES BEFORE I COULD GET INTO MY ROOM AND HAD TO BE READY FOR THE FUNCTION BY 6:00. NEEDLESS TO SAY IWAS NOT PLEASED.CONVIENCE
Not too bad for the price. Next time I would stay in nicer hotel. Wall are very thin, rooms are cramped, vending machines didn't work with credit cards. For the function, it was a good location. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The rooms are tired and worn. The outside has been renovated but the interiors need it bad. Saggy matresses and dirty carpets. Plus they leave the AC off so the room was damp and musty for many hours. Ideally located, and a good breakfast. College students in the hospitality major run the front desk. We were very short towels and toiletries, and one showed up litterally with a pile of unfolded towels!
The Hotel is difficult to find, but actually on campus. Receptionist was very nice, but didn't give any voluntary information except to let us know where breakfast would be. Parking was a bit of a distance from the room and there was a two level staircase to get from the room to the reception building for breakfast. If you're older or have a mobility problem, this can be difficult. The room had cobwebs over the window and there were flies in it (probably because there were cows nearby across the road.) The biggest problem was the bed and bedding. I didn't think the blanket was clean and took an extra blanket from the closet. Also, the bed was really uncomfortable and my husband and I kept rolling to the middle. Needless to say, we didn't get a good nights sleep. If this hotel is part of the University's Hospitality program, someone is falling down on the job. Also, restaurants were quite a distance by car from the campus. I wouldn't stay there again. Sorry. I wanted to like it.
Best place to stay overnight if you are visiting Cal Poly Pomona. Staffs are really helpful and friendly. Very awesome view from the hotel room. Comfortable and clean beds with a kinda awesome blanket.
Drive for about 10-15 minutes then you could easily find some good places to eat at Walnut.

Bed was comfortable. I like having a body pillow on each bed. It was helpful since I have back pains. Room was very clean. Great value for a comfortable room.
The hotel is out of the way, through the college campus, past cow pastures, and up a hill. It's not easy to find, and the clerk never answered the phone. Luckily, we found someone in the college parking lot who knew where it was and gave us directions. Google & Apple Maps both had the address in a completely different location, which I think was the Arts Dept building on campus. Once we arrived the hotel was ok, but nothing special. The pool is very small, the balcony of the room looks out onto the parking lot, and *bonus* it smells like cow poo outside! Awesome! They didn't mention that in the description. In the morning we went for breakfast to find that they'd mistakenly only given us one voucher instead of two, although we'd booked a double room with two adults. Although this was resolved, it took 15 minutes, and I was accused of booking a room for only one. (My reservation email confirmed two, so they conceded and handed us a second voucher.) Not sure the continental buffet was worth so much trouble.. BUT they do have bedbug sniffing dogs check the rooms every month! (There's a sign at the front desk to let you know.) Good thing, since we picked this hotel based entirely on the fact that it is one of only two hotels in all of Pomona that did not have bedbugs in any of the reviews, and the other hotel was already booked. HA! In summary, if you like the smell of cow dung, and do not like bedbugs, this is the hotel for you.
KW is beautifully situated on a hill overlooking the Cal Poly campus. The room and facility was very clean and roomy. The complimentary breakfast was exceptional.
The rooms are not the best , there were ants in our room and myself and my son were bit at least twice. The hotel inside the main lobby was beautiful but I wish I would have felt cleaner in the room and bed.

The place to stay while visiting Cal Poly Pomona
As the hotel is on campus, this location is quiet and perfect while visiting Cal Poly. The rooms are comfortable and clean, nothing more, but nothing less. The resataurant was closed during my visit. Note that if you use the mail hotel address, your GPS will send you nowhere. Try the hotel's parking coordinates: N 34 03.381' W 117 49.584'
Great room close to pool. Beautiful property and very nice complimentary breakfast. Staff at front had a bit of attitude and were a little unorganized. Rooms are very nice and it feels very safe. Parking is very easy and right outside the rooms. I would bring my family here again. We were here for a party at the Kellogg House. The hotel was the perfect location.
