I was supposed to check into this hotel on May 29th 2020. Due to Covid everything got cancelled. I tried to reach the hotel myself several times about a refund or credit and no one has emailed me back. That was 3 months ago and I’m out $600. That’s no way to treat your customers. Shame on you Westbury Hotel Kensington.

Hotel très bien placé, personnel très gentil, chambre propre , très bon petit déjeuner au niveau rapport qualité prix, ce n'est pas un 4 étoile , mais un bon confort et un prix très correct pour la prestation,

The rooms were small and walls are thin. We were downstairs and we were woken up in the middle of the night by the squeaking floor boards from above room. It was so loud that it woke us up. We told the receptionist to change rooms. But they said we cant. Disappointing really. I think they know the problem been there so long but ignored it.

Simple hotel

Simple hotel, tiny rooms (the bedroom door didn't even opened totally), not very clean (carpets should be vacuumed more frequently), breakfast was limited. The staff was nice.

Great location, a few tweaks needed.

Breakfast was good for what we paid. Would have been disappointed if we gad psid £8 each. Drinks took ages to do as hot water slow, staff kept area clean and food fresh and were friendly. The room was tiny but did the job, clean towel on bed had crisps on it when we arrived, radiator needed a good dusting. Toilet/shower room a massive let down, was dated but clean, only prob was it was almost impossible to sit on the toilet as your knees touched the wall, and your face was inches away from the wall. Kettle gad to be right on the edge of the desk for the plug to reach the socket but we managed it. Walls are quite thin and can hear neighbours. Hotel absolutely perfect for location.

Camera piccola e sporca. La mattina successiva al nostro arrivo ci pioveva lo scarico della camera di sopra in camera, scendeva liquame dai faretti sia in bagno sia sul letto e sulla moquette. Alla nostra richiesta di cambiare stanza ci é stata negata, per fortuna expedia ci ha cambiato albergo senza maggiorazione.

Welcoming and no frills, ideal for business stay

Well located for Earls Court tube and rooms quite quiet. Rooms are utilitarian but the price reflects that. Had to change rooms due to damp in first one but reception were excellent, moving me without hesitation. Did not have breakfast there for which they charge £8.

Quarto muito pequeno com localização excelente

Atendimento muito bom, mas o quarto é realmente muito pequeno. O banheiro também é acanhado com o chuveiro espirrando água e molhando o chão do banheiro. A localização é excelente muito próxima a estação earls court, o que facilita a ída e volta ao aeroporto de metrô.

Zum Übernachten in zentraler Lage ok

Wir haben ein Familienzimmer gebucht mit 4 Betten. Das Zimmer war wirklich sehr klein - sah so aus, als hätte man in ein Zweierzimmer noch zwei Betten hineingestellt. Möblierung älteren Standards, WLAN war mal besser, mal schlechter, jedoch stets langsam. Lage des Hotels ist gut, Sauberkeit auch. Nur zum Übernachten reichts, jedoch sehr einfach - dafür preiswert für London.

We checked all the reviews of the Westbury Hotel before we booked our stay. We went in knowing the rooms are small. We knew the bathrooms were going to be small (but they are ensuites) and provide no toiletries except a all in one liquid soap. We brought travel size toiletries and our normal organic bar of soap. The bathroom was not as small as I anticipated and was very clean. We booked a 2 twin bed room which was small, but the beds are comfortable. The pillows and linens were also good. We had a street side room which could be noisy at times, but once we closed the window, most of the noise was eliminated. We also requested a fan and the office staff provided one right away, which also helped with noise and limited air movement in the room. The location is key and super close to Earl's court tube station. There are several excellent pubs in the immediate area as well. Also, the local Sainsbury (grocery store) is only 2 blocks away. Overall, the Westbury met all of our needs, it isn't a 5 star 250.00 pound per night type of place, but for the price and ensuite bathrooms it's good for a budget stay in London!

Don’t stay upstairs on 4th floor in the summer. No ac and way too hit on the 4th floor with small windows that can’t cool things down. This place is all about location in Kensington. That’s it. The rooms and bathrooms are small.

Upon arriving, was told that despite choosing a Twin Room that is deemed a "request" and not guaranteed. Of course, that is literally the exact opposite of how the hotel industry works, so I was immensely peeved. Front desk staff was atrocious beyond all recognition and cared little for common niceties. Room was no bigger than a prison cell and was similarly furnished. Stay away if you want a relaxing place to rest your bones after a day in the city.

Situation proche métro, mais pas de clim...

En période de canicule à Londres, difficile de dormir dans une chambre non climatisée. Voisins du dessus extrêmement bruyants : bruits de pas pendant plus de 2 h de la chambre du dessus entre 22h et minuit. Notre chambre était la 308. Hôtel bien situé entre 2 stations de métro, et proche arrêt Big Bus. Le personnel est efficace et aimable.
