Great stay!

Very clean and well-appointed rooms and facilities. Room had kitchen and washer/dryer. Yes, it has shared bathrooms. It’s not a big deal. Never had to wait for a bathroom, and they were always immaculately clean. The only negative about the property is that there’s no elevator, so if you’ve got a heavy suitcase, prepare for a workout. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Amazing location; food, activities, and transportation links are all around. I would definitely stay here again.

It really was smart and efficient. The room had a Bosch clothes washer drier, all one machine. Say whaaat? It worked well. The hotel sits on top of an Underground stop.

Neat and cosy

An amazing experience overall. The room was neat and kept clean on a daily basis throughout our 4 day stay. There are plenty of features in the room including free WiFi, HD Freeview, a washing machine/dryer, an induction stove with pots and plates of you want to self cater and a safe for valuable items. The staff were helpful and there's always someone at the help desk 24/7. I'll definitely recommend Swiss Cottage and would come back again.

several stairs. i was with two heavy luggages and had to take carry it 3 flloors bacause it doesnt have lifts. and its several stairs. the recepcionist told me she wouldnt help because she had knee problems. the restroon to share is another probem and it is in the other floor. its very far away from city centre and you need to take train to get there. Extremly noose because its just beside train station.

I liked the proximity to the underground station. The amenities in the room and the washrooms were very nice and clean. The room itself was clean. My sheets seemed to be old and daily cleaning did not seem to switch the sheets out when it is noticably a little dirty. It was not terrible though.

객실에 커피포트, 세탁기, 냉장고, 전자레인지, 인덕션이 모두 이었어요. 레지던스 호텔분위기였어요. 화장실과 욕실이 공동이라고 해서 좀 걱정을 했는데, 공용이긴 해도 혼자 사용할 수 있는 구조여서 그리 불편하지 않았습니다. 욕실 사용하면 바로 청소를 하는 듯 늘 깨끗했습니다. 시내 호텔보다 훨씬 주변도 좋았습니다.

La chambre est très bien agencés et très propre, les sanitaires également. Le personnel très attentif. Prévoyez un casque pour dormir les décibels sont très élevés, sinon vous passerez une nuit blanche.

Located directly across from my daughter's flat, so wonderfully convenient. Virtually on top of the tube station, 1 block from the overground, with a fabulous cafe in the same building! Sharing a bathroom was no trouble at all!

Well-located for Finchley Road Underground and getting into the city however the closeness to the underground does make rooms noisy. The room we had was very clean and had everything we needed- it was good to have a fridge, sink and kettle (we didn't need to washing machine/cooker). Unfortunately there was no air conditioning but we had a fan in the room which was ok. The shared bathroom was very warm and suffocating- there wasn't good ventilation in there. Friendly helpful staff made us feel welcome and gave tips on the local area.This is more of a hostel than a hotel (shared bathrooms) so if booking don't expect the same standards from a hotel.

Perfect for a few days

Excellent stay, well equipped & comfortable. Shared bathroom was always clean & didn’t seem to be occupied by anyone else. Staff very helpful. Narrow staircase with no lift so big, heavy luggage could be an issue

Looking for great value accommodation in London?

The room was functional and basic but very clean with everything you need if you want to avoid eating out expenses - kettle, toaster, microwave, oven, job, fridge, TV, pots and pans. Bathroom and shower not en suite but clean and no queues. Little bit of train noise because right next to Finchley Rd station but not a problem. I would be very happy to recommend this hotel, especially if you are looking for a great value, no frills/ self catering London stay.
