"The room was very small, and the bigger problem is that it gets extremely hot during the day. There's no air conditioning, and the windows only open partway, so there's no way to cool the room down or get proper airflow. I didn't sleep well the whole stay.
Housekeeping was also a letdown — the towels had stains on them and hair, so I ended up drying myself with napkins. That's not something you expect at any price point.

"I do really hate to write negative reviews, but the staff were frankly morose and a bit unhelpful and the hotel itself gave more of the impression that it was made to cater to people who check in without luggage, if you understand what I am trying to say here. "The hotel had only re-opened after a major refurbishment . I only checked-in less than a week after re-opening. Everything needless to say was spotless and totally brand new. The staff were superb and well-trained and very helpful. Breakfast was a joy and the dining area was superb, a great panoramic view of much of central London.
Probably the best hotel I've ever been in to date. I can totally recommend it"
