"Room was lovely and clean hotel was in the centre of everything The one downside was the parking, the only parking nearby was a short stay paying carpark or on street parking which was only 30 minutes between 8 and 6 Monday to Saturday "

Only disappointment was there is no restaurant (which was showing in the amenities on the Hotel.com site) and the bar was limited and only open until about 5pm. We were there just before the main season though. Luckily lovely restaurant and lounge area in the hotel next door. We would definitely stay again "

"Good welcome. Special request for room with a bath was met. Massive luxurious bedroom. Top end toiletries but dispensers could be lower down in bath area so they can be reached when bathing. Superb breakfast. Good to perfection. Excellent choice and served to you at your table. Delicious quality ground coffee. Always love our stay at the Cawdor. It never disappoints. "

"Location great. Accommodation poor walls so thin I could hear the man next door going to the toilet. Kettle did not work. Bedding stained and no lights in the bathroom. Emailed the staff about breakfast included in the price as that is what was advertised and that is what I paid for however their response was rude and blamed Hotels.com. "

"Great location within walk of the beach. We were given an upgrade to a room with a balcony overlooking the first tee on the golf course. The accomodation was modern and comfortable.. We had a bar meal and also breakfast during our two night stay and the quality of the food and service were excellent. Two things that would improve the place would be a lift especially when lugging up suitcases up and down the long stairs! The other was the lack of a washer in the shower head. This was reported and we used the rain shower that was working well."
