Conveniently located, easy self-checkin, though I missed the human touch of people who could give advice about the curious area and small town.

This was a very nice hotel. It was easy to find had it's own car park and was walking distance from town. Access was made easy with a key box. It was a great place to make our home base for exploring Northern Wales.
We stayed for a peaceful nights sleep before a big walk. Very quiet location, just out of the town. We arrived late and the hotel parking was full, but we parked just round the corner no problem. A good shower and a decent bed with lots of cushions but just could have done with more pillows. Quite hot as it was one of the hottest days in the year, but we could open the windows, so it was fine. Cup of coffee in the morning and we were off. Easy to get in via a keycode. Very clean and above all, quiet.
Very disappointing accommodation, tired, old and in definite need of refurbishment, maybe we got the worse room? I dont know but if our room was anything to go by then I'm sure I'm not alone in saying it failed to impress. Surprised how they are able to charge the amount they do, lacked basics like wardrobes, pillows(we got 1!), no fans for the searing heat we are experiencing atm, very basic and useless shower. Sadly would never return to this accommodation and no way is it 3 star!at best its 1 and I'm being generous. Compared to our previous accommodation in Beaumaris #boldarmshotel rated 3 star, they would need to take a leaf out of their book and see how a 3 star accommodation is set up, their accommodation and facilities was outstanding and cheaper and we was in a bustling busy resort meadowsweet was in the sticks no views, nothing around it and a wall to look at for the view!
The staff were polite and curteous, they allowed us to check in early despite having been fully booked the night before. Our room was immaculate, and the four poster bed was both impressive and comfortable. Tea/coffee were provided, as was a heater / fan, hair dryer, straighteners and robes which we thought was a nice touch. A folder full of information was available and detailed local eateries and taxi companies etc, which was appreciated. There were comfortable chairs in the room which were perfectly positioned for admiring the view of the beautiful countryside. Waking up to that view is really special - I'll certainly never forget it!
Downstairs in the guest lounge they have a fridge containing cold drinks which are available using an honesty policy. A microwave is also available, and in the information sheets in the room further services are offered such as laundry washing and drying which again we thought was a fantastic extra touch to make staying at Meadowsweet as comfortable and stress free as possible.
The decor throughout was quirky and eccentric which we loved, and they had some fantastic artwork on display.
The location of the hotel is amazing nestled amongst breathtaking natural beauty (rolling hills, mountains, rivers, waterfalls and the ocean), and within walking distance of local shops, and a short drive to Conwy and Llandudno which are both wonderful, picturesque towns to visit - Conwy castle in particular magnificent.
We cant wait to go back!
We were very disappointed, & annoyed how expensive it was just for a bed, no breakfast, & no staff anywhere! I am sorry to say but would not recommend this hotel. Our hotel the following night was great.

Ok for one night. We couldn’t find a parking onsite …
Easy checkin - everything as described. Noisy people in room jumping around and shouting, above at midnight - for about an hour on Saturday. Lovely and quiet on Sunday. Would recommend.
This was my first visit to this area, so I cannot compare in terms of “bangs for my bucks”. This was the cheapest option of the ones available, so I guess I got a good deal. Bar some minor details (a bit of old scum on the shower head), the place was very clean. I appreciated the contact-free interaction and being given the option to skip room service, although I find that the fee charged for bins emptying was exaggerated (I did not opt in).
Should I go back to the area, I would definitely consider going back to the Meadowsweet.
We arrived around 11pm to check in however the front door is locked at 10pm. Luckily we used the contact number provided and the owner was quick to let us in and allow us to check in. Staff were very pleasant. The room we stayed in was well decorated. The location is in a small town, and walking distance to a Co-op and some restaurants. Free car park is available. Good location for seeing around Snowdonia National Park.

Nice stay
Was comfy and pleasant for one night stay. Could hear room next to us when using water/toilet flushing vice versa but that can't be helped. Clean white bedding, room not perfect cleanliness but not dirty. Nice room just not decorated/arranged to our style. TV was tiny not that you'd need it with lovely view of the hills outside!
a traditional-esque hotel situated in the middle of the snowdonia national park. the place was perfect, it supplied all that we needed for our stay and the host was very friendly, i’d highly recommend.
Great location for access into snowdonia, with a few god restaurants in the local village, a lot of options for gluten free.
Room was clean and had what we needed, did need a bit of TLC in places. The only negative is that the pipes were quite loud, when another room would use the water it was very loud in our room, which did wake us up a couple of times. But for the price and location a good hotel.
