Incredible property with huge potential.

This place is really fun with fresh fruit trees, donkeys, chickens, ducks and a goat which our kids had a great time getting to know. The hosts were fantastic and such a pleasure to meet. They were very accommodating and made us feel at home. We had fresh squeezed orange juice and eggs from the farm’s chickens for breakfast! Our only criticism is that the property overall could be cleaned up a bit. Our room was very clean and nice, however.

Superb place to stay in Sintra - I'll be back soon

I booked purely for the pool but the setting of the place in its own valley surrounded by greenery is possibly one of the best spontaneous bookings I've made. For 3 days I only left the pool to eat it was that relaxing. Great staff too.

Jolie petit domaine de campagne agréable, service impeccable, petit déjeuner copieux, très bien reçu malgré une réservation tardive en raison du covi19. Il faut s’attendre à trouver des animaux de la ferme vous serez réveillé par le doux chant de l’âne et du coq... cela peu déranger certains!!!

Amazing space and grounds- a work in progress, but beautiful as is. Very neat to explore. Negatives included a strong mildew smell in the apartment, old/tired feeling furnishings, and a clunky check in- the host had a hard time finding my Hotels.com reservation at first.

Old, romantic and dirty

This place has incredible potential if it was better taken care of. It has everything from small pools, fruit trees, open areas (sadly unused) and more but all in bad and dirty condition. Good news is there was some repairwork going on, although there is a lot that remains to be done. The staff were great and we would gladly come back, but only if they fix up the place.

La Quinta está en obras. La habitación que era la suite deluxe estaba sin terminar con el techo sin pintar y otros desperfectos como humedad en el baño, la pintura de la pared desconchada, el agua no potable... Un HORRORRRRR!

Poor communication and lack of availability of staff to respond to simple requests. Zero email communication from the hotel. Attempted to contact through Expedia with zero success. The lack of communication was so bad we felt we couldn't stay here as if they can't respond to email and phone calls what will the property service be like. Would recommend booking elsewhere.

Tivemos que ir rmbora no meio da noite, cheiro estranho no quarto, não tinha agua potável para vender. Mas o pior foi que a lareira coloca fumaça para dentro do quarto e fica impossível 😔 ficar. Outro problema foi com a agua quente!

Great location and property however difficult to find and road signage almost impossible to see. If you miss the turnoff, you have to drive a long distance to get back as the road is one way and you can’t turn around. Also, construction works on property which meant early wake up with lots of work noise happening outside. Still, a beautiful place to stay and would return again.

LIKE YOU NEVER STAYED IN BEFORE

NOT A EASY PROPERTY TO FIND! Your GPS will take you to a street that you cannot go down since it is one way, the opposite way. Even our local taxi driver could not find this property. The best word I can use for this property is quaint. The room was large enough, however, the hotpot didn't work, the locks on the doors were flimsy. I had to plug in the refrigerator and there was a used bar of soap left in the dish, a new one not provided. No amenities were furnished. The property itself is overgrown. If you are older, don't even consider this property since there are a lot of steps. The write up says restaurant available ... that is not the case. The property looks like a work in progress and may be ready in a year or two. We are animal lovers and the one quaint attribute that we liked were the animals, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, geese and a donkey were free range. We thought the rooster would awaken us, but no, the donkey brayed at 3:07 a.m., a sound that could wake the dead!

Très belle villa avec personnel accueillant

Nous sommes resté 3 nuits à cet hôtel. Emplacement parfait. On sent que le personnel font beaucoup d’effort pour entretenir cet immense villa qui est assez spectaculaire. Ils ont été très receptif à nos besoins et commentaires. Du côté à corriger, étant donné que Sintra est un endroit très humide, les chambres en souffrent. Un désumidificateur serait un bel ajout (surtout pour la chambre du coin). La réception est un endroit agréable avec une très belle vue sur la propriété mais on peut malheureusement pas en profiter passé 18h. Très agréable de pouvoir choisir nos avocats directement de l’arbre et voir les animaux (chèvres, ânes, etc) se promener près des chambres. Stationnement gratuit et très proche un gros plus.

We arrived at 9pm and we had to wait 45min for someone to show up with keys. The room was absolutely freezing. Bathroom door didn't lock properly, and the toilet / room divider wasn't sound proof.
