Nebraska Football Hotel

Very simple check in and easily accessible. Rooms was clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable. Stayed here for a Nebraska football game and the walk wasn’t too bad

The rooms are very cute and nice, however the floors and corners were quite dirty like they had not been swept. There was hair on the floor and cobwebs in the corner near door. For the price of stay for one night I would have liked to of seen the room just a little more up-kept/tidy. Overall easy check-in/entry. The fenced in area is cute and lit up.

Just had a lovely stay at The Herbie. It's easy to get to and close to downtown but the area is actually pretty quiet. There is a courtyard with loungechairs, a grill and pickleball court and the room was just amazing! The decor and the details are stellar, the king-sized bed was comfortable, there's a fridge with freezer, coffeemaker and bathroom toiletries. I have finally found "my" place to stay in Lincoln and we will most definitely be back!!

Very nicely redone motel. I was skeptical when I saw the location as I’ve always known that area to not be great. I never felt unsafe. There is locked access to the courtyard and each room. While it’s not really a walkable area, the proximity to downtown and Memorial Stadium is great. We’ll stay again.

We checked in fairly late. Neighborhood surrounding seemed sketchy. Hotel itself was cute. We had the separate house with 3 rooms. A few bugs and a stain on a comforter and we decided we wouldn’t be able to rest. Staff tried to offer a alternate room and were polite but we decided to go elsewhere. The place has potential but just wouldn’t work for us.

Interesting boutique motel renovation. Old two level motel converted to enclosed compound with “interior” room entries. Inner courtyard well equipped for recreation. Kitchen supplies and appliances looked modern and adequate. Roku TV is a good touch if one is familiar with that interface, but no local antenna was connected for off the air local channels. External parking area seems adequate, but the two sign poles could use some improvements to make them more visible and not be collision hazards. The out of the way location might be off putting for some, but the sparsely populated area seemed safe and it is well located in relation to downtown and the university. With the enclosed courtyard usable for recreation this property might be well suited for a group traveling together for a something like an athletic event.

Don’t judge this hotel by the outside. There is no lobby. It’s a keyless entry. No pool or jacuzzi but several games to play and plenty of lounge chairs and charming lights. The rooms have updated decor and are clean and very comfortable. Only a mile or so from the stadium so very easy to Uber, take a bus or even walk if you are ambitious. We really enjoyed our stay
