We had an exceptional stay at this 220 year old establishment. Very historical place with period furnishings and well thought out amenities. When in Lewisburg we would certainly stay here again.
Clean and spacious room, cozy foyer/sitting room, great check in communication. Lovely beverage options. If you’re a needlecraft fan be sure to check out the large animal themed needlepoint above of the staircases-gorgeous!!! I thought it was a quilt but upon closer inspection, even better-needlepoint! Beautiful piece.
Fantastic room with our own living, kitchen area. Bonus having complimentary beverages, which were a lovely treat. We would gladly recommend staying here to anyone.
What a cute Inn! Bed was comfy, kitchen was nice, complementary beverages, nice patio and easy check in and out procedures. A cute place with just the right amount of old charm and modern amenities. I recommend.
Part of our anniversary trip this year brought us to the Thomas Rose Inn. It was quiet, beautiful, and comfortable. Extra touches made it even better. Location was great. Hosts responded asap. Highly recommend this wonderful place.
This is a gorgeous historic place, over 200 years old, fixed up meticulously. The room had a magnificent fireplace, and tasteful antiques transporting you back in time. The host had complimentary beverages in the fridge. Located close to little shops and restaurants in the lush mountains of West Virginia, this is truly a hidden gem. I'd stay here again in a second
Very nicely decorated. At this stage we have seen nobody. Just a message in an envelope on the door. Appreciate the free drinks including champagne. Beds comfortable. Be aware of the bath/ shower combo. Would be difficult for disabled

Just an awesome vibe
Everything was just SO Top-Shelf!
The bed was awesome the setting was very special as we really gravitate towards the Victorian style homes, and this place has the greatest vibe.
Only negative, was the bathtub. The paint was chipping off and there was no way for my better half to take the bath she was anticipating.
Overtall, The Thomas Rise Inn was 9.5 out of 10. LOVED IT!
Historic house, lovely town, great restoration!!! you can walk to everything with the exception of some of the areas top recreational opportunities like the Greenbrier River Trail, The only issue is noise from surrounding traffic and keep in mind this house is 220 years old - it creaks!
The bed was decent, good pillows. All channels on the tv were messed up or messed up while trying to watch. Very convenient location to WV State Fair which was reason for stay!
