A traditional Balinese style hotel complex with a beautiful garden. The service was fantastic and the location is very central. Once you set foot on the complex you feel like you are somewhere completely else then in the middle of Kuta/Legian.. The owners and staff are as all Balinese people very friendly. We had a beautiful room with outdoor shower and bath. The rooms got cleaned every day incl the bed sheets. Very nice swimming pool. The breakfast was basic but good. For people that expect it to be perfect wake up as it is a older type hotel and the price is fantastic for what you get and for what you paid. Will definitely come back here again!
I've been here twice. Love the garden and the rooms.
Breakfast average.
Otherwise good location and pool is good

Disliked: Cleanliness
Convenient location. Lovely staff- very helpful. Swimming pool immaculate but furniture around pool need replacing. Our room was really beautiful. The grounds need some attention but the place is clean and attractive.
Zimmer geschmackvoll eingerichtet, tägliche Reinigung, an einigen Stellen Wasserflecken von undichtem Dach, super schöne Gartenanlage, Personal freundlich, leider manchmal Kommunikationsschwierigkeiten, Pool sauber, zentrumsnah und doch ruhige Anlage, Frühstück sehr spärlich - aber im Nachbarhotel gutes Frühstück möglich
Been here 5 times and love it. It is comfy close to most things but above all it is peaceful....
If you want a real holiday you must stay away from big multi story buildings and stay in the smaller lesser known places. We have been coming to Bali for years now and thats the only real advice to take :)
Cute place. Rooms where quite dark and the TV didn't really work very well.
No connection to WIFI from the rooms and you have to go to the reception to connect.
Pool is amazing and the ground staff pay good attention to keeping everything clean.
Breakfast was quite bad really, but there are cafès and shops very close.
While place was very quite for such a central spot. Close walk to everything
On arrival met by staff with minimal English who picked his nose whilst checking documentation. No niceties like welcome to the cottages. Minimal interactions. No maps of surrounding areas. Whilst the setting is amazing the rooms leave a lot to be desired. Perfect Balinese style cottages but they needed money spent on them to upgrade the facilities. Insulation tape wrapped around electrical wires, cob webs connecting the lamp shade to the light, really, really hard beds, paint peeling off the walls, could see daylight though the window frames where the termites had eaten through, no hot water in one of the rooms. A menu board was displayed for dinner but when we enquired the response was No No chef????? Breakfast was basic - egg anyhow - fried, omelette, scrambled with toast, butter and jam. Tea or coffee out of a vacuum flask of hot water and fruit juice.
Room service notices in the rooms but there was no room service let alone a phone. Only Indonesian speaking TV.
The rooms were cleaned daily but it's going to take more than a flip around with a mop to bring them up to standard. Minimal crockery - 2 glasses in each room - interesting when there was 3 of us in each room. Constantly had to ask for towels for the pool. Once again only two towels in each room. There were no other kitchen utensils, or anything to try and prepare the most basic of meals. Lucky there was a shop close by where we could buy noodles and heat them up there for the children. VERY, VERY basic!!!
I needed a getaway from hectic life & this hotel was exactly what I needed, the gardens are spectacular, the staff are incredibly friendly, the room was large, clean & comfy. The wildlife was an added bonus for me. This hotel/cottages are not a 5 star resort and people that stay here should be aware of that, and not have 5 star expectations (although, some renovations are being made) Being right in the center of Legian, with a short walk in 3 directions that will take you onto the busy streets, the cottages are perfectly situated. The restaurant is only open for breakfast, but again it's only a short stroll to some excellent restaurants. The pool is also gorgeous & very well maintained. I took great delight in staying here and have had no reservations in recommending it to my family & friends, I have visited Bali often, but this is the first time I've stayed at the "Panorama Cottages 11" and I can honestly state that I will be staying here, upon my next visit.
Thank you to all staff & permanent tenants for providing me with all that I was looking for in a relaxing holiday, see you all next time. Jackie
Given a lower class of room even though booked a super deluxe. No wifi in room and they steal from your rooms. So beware. This is no 3.5 star rated resort.

Quiet place in an otherwise busy area in Legian
We stayed for 5 nights at Panorama Cottages II, it is a surprisingly very quiet place in an otherwise busy district of Legian. The room was quite large, however in old condition. Unfortunately room didn't look as nice as in the picture, and the lighting was rather dull. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was okay, though limited choice.
