Stunning gem

It is a pleasure they allow this grand home to its guests. Easy and safe parking in the centre of town, a real bonus in Italy. You felt very secure here, close to history filled Leece and great eateries. An excellent stop over. Highly recommend.

The host is extremely friendly, helpful and informative. Location is brilliant and parking great. Breakfast is made fresh every morning with bread, cheese, cakes, cereal etc etc. Wonderful balcony to enjoy an evening drink and watch the sun go down.

I’ve stayed in a lot of nice places around the world and this place is in my top three. Starting with the host/owner (Mr. Palmieri) who exudes warmth and welcomes you into his property with a level of hospitality and grace that cannot be surpassed. The property itself is absolutely wonderful. A perfect combination of historic beauty with modern conveniences that we are accustomed to in North America. 10 out of 10.

Picture this …. You are driving in Lecce, arrive to a stylish old mansion, where the front iron gate opens, to let you in. You park and walk a few feet. Arrive to a nicely decorated main hall with marble stairs. Then you go to your huge room (Garbo) with a hot tub and a quaint balcony that overlooked the front garden and …. Well, if it sound appealing to you, this is your place to stay in Lecce. Room: High ceilings, very clean and quiet. Very good A/C, comfy beds. Safe & fridge. Very large bathroom. Great breakfast, they will even make eggs for you on the spot. Highly recommended!

Beautiful villa in a perfect location

The villa is beautiful and the owner and his staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is IDEAL since it is on the edge of the historic center and you have gated parking in the front drive of the villa. It was so easy to come and go with our car to visit other parts of the region. In the evenings it was just a short five minute walk to get to the historic center of Lecce. The breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to this area.

It is well located. The see through shower is unconventional to say the least. Also when people are smoking on the balcony, the smoke gets blown back into the inside.

The house is great, excellent decoration, Sr Mario was extremely kind and helpfull...we expected more concerning the room, although there was a balcony, inside was not so confortable and the bathroom had a shower with no walls, one could be seen while taking a bath...also hte breakfast had a few options...only sugar things...it could be improved being a hotel of that level.

L'hébergement est un petit palais, parfaitement situé juste au bord del'intra muros. La chambre était super propre et comfortable, comportant même un jacuzzi ! Le déjeuner était excellent, avec une approche personnalisée et un choix de boulangerie/patisserie typique locale.
