Great place for our getaway will stay again soon. Just bring bed sheets. pillows and blankets and towels kitchens are full equipped for cooking. Place was big and roomy and cozy Had a fireplace but didn’t use it. The area is under a burn ban at the moment so we wasn’t able to use firepit at nights walking distance to water hole to soak your feet for the time being Leakey about a 10min drive or so. A convenience store is about a 5min drive. Garner State park is about 10min drive as well. Very scenic area. Great views

Not as expected

I was unaware that you had to bring your own bedding, bath and kitchen towels, extra paper towels and tp. This was rather inconvenient coming from out of state. I take responsibility because I didn't diligently read all the fine print, but found out through an email that arrived shortly before arrival (not hours, but days). I've never encountered this before. Beds were nice and comfy however. No nice couch to relax on, only a wooden table to watch the tv. Would choose to not return.

We did not stay. walked in the door and left. The cabin was nothing like the pictures. A picknick table was the only Place to sit at! For 200.00 a night ? Unacceptable

It is located very quiet place along Frio river. The cabin is very clean and have everything you need. The bed is comfort. The picnic table, volleyball net, firewood . It is just simple , clean , sufficient. We stay two nights and for New Year. We have a wonderful stay. It is few minutes to Garner state and 45 minutes drive to Lost maple. We will come back in the future.

Great and welcoming host, Ms. Veronica! Beautiful comfy cabin only 2 minutes walk to the crystal clear frio river! Very clean cabin, relaxing songs from different kinds of birds will greet you every morning! Campfire at night adds warmth to the cozy spring season! It's like we own the river, it's so private and clean! It is also located a few minutes from Garner State Park. Cabin is equipped with full kitchen! Found our niche, thank you Frio River Cabin for a very unforgettable and pleasantly memorable spring break! We had a blast!

The kitchen was fuilly equiped with everything I needed to cook. The ac work very well, and the inside of the cabin was clean. It was very peaceful, just what i wanted. I am sure it gets busy in the summer time, but i chose the right time to make this trip. There was a fire ring outside the cabin as well as a a BQQ grill. The frio river is just a few feet away which was really great. Be sure to bring your own bed sheets, linens, and pillows.

Nice quite in the wilderness, within 10min drive from Garner state park. The cabin is spacious, modern, very well equipped. I love the cb2 plates. The host is very friendly. Note this is not an area with lots of shops so plan to bring what you need.
