First, the name of the hotel was incorrect. It was not the Palette, it was the OYO. Difficult to find. No signage about the name change.
It was a 19-story building with one functioning elevator when we arrived. The next morning there no functioning elevators not even the service elevator. No signs on the elevators says they were not functioning. No number to call if you need help. No directions on how to exit the building. The stairwells said if you entered them you had to go to the first floor to exit. It was possible to go to the 10th floor, exit the stairwell and take the elevator in the adjoining tower but this was not noted. Staff left everyone to fend for themselves. No help no apology. We left before our stay was over and felt lucky to not have a heart attack on the stairs.
I'm glad there was not a fire or medical emergancy. Someone could have died.
