Started good but turned bad.

We stayed 3 nights. It started out good. Our first room didn’t have wifi but we were able to change rooms right away, and they gave us a bigger and better room. They gave us breakfast on time the two first mornings. On our last night they did not answer when we put in our breakfast order (which was the routine the other two nights). The power went out and they did not answer any of our messages. The main light in our bedroom suddenly worked after the power came back on, but we were unable to turn it off and had to sleep with it on the whole night. On our last morning we did not get breakfast even though this was included. Our rating would have been much better if it hadn’t been for that last night/last morning. It was like they forgot they had guests staying (it seemed like we were the only ones there). The reception was closed and locked when we went to check out.

A lot to enhance, would not book again

We stayed three nights in a simple apartment. The staff was helpful, the pool area was clean and quiet. There weren't as many kitchen supplies as we had hoped for and nothing for doing the dishes. Fortunately, the fridge was new and clean.The apartment was clean when we arrived, but there was no cleaning service during our stay, not even the towels were changed. There was a ventilation hole in the roof without a mosquito net and therefore also the soundproofing was missing totally. There was an electricity and water cut-out for a few hours without prior notice. The bed was quite uncomfortable, no place to let towels etc. to dry. The wifi connection was not working all the time. The walking distance to the city center is not easy because of the renovations and narrow streets. La playa de las ballenas is the closest swimmable beach. Even though listed, a safety box, ceiling fan, mobile access and balcony were not available in our apartment. The place looks much better in the photos.

My experience at this hotel was unfortunately disappointing. The description provided online did not accurately reflect the reality of the property, which led to unmet expectations from the start. The staff appeared disengaged and unresponsive, offering little assistance during our stay. Given the price paid, the level of service and overall experience did not justify the cost. One major issue was the lack of soundproofing. Noise from outside was clearly audible throughout the night. Additionally, there was significant noise coming from another room due to a couple engaging in intimate activity, which was extremely uncomfortable—especially since my child was present in the room with us. Overall, this stay did not meet basic standards of comfort, professionalism, or value. I would not recommend this hotel to families or travelers seeking a peaceful and reliable stay.

Peaceful and Perfect

I was a bit concerned after reading previous reviews, but everything about this place was perfect! Very quiet and relaxing. Jorge was super kind and most helpful at check-in. He gave us two room options and helped with our bags. Amazing location close to the beach and town. Lovely pool and clean, comfortable room. Highly recommend!

Excellent location. Very very clean. Amazing staff. Jorge at the front desk is very attentive, kind, and patient. 2 min walking distance to the beach. Breakfast at the restaurant is very delicious and fresh … the pool is perfect to take a dip and enjoy. Close to all the fun yet far enough that it’s quiet in the evening to get good rest!!!!! We come here every summer and stay 3-4 times …. We highly recommend this establishment to many people !!!

While the price was not expensive you really get what you pay for, not a place you would come back to. A property taken over to make money on one time visitors. Pictures designed to seem larger than they are and lacks any appeal in real life. Staff was accommodating, but they were in on the joke. Saturday night fun and games will keep you up pass your bedtime.

Avoid this place

We booked the exclusive room, but were given the small room. They only give a flat sheet to use as a blanket. We had to ask for blankets. The water was cold. We asked them to look into it and they didn’t do anything about it. The next morning we had to shower in cold water again. Overall cleanliness is poor.

Pésima experiencia - No me respondieron por la pérdida de mi vestido Mi estancia en este hotel fue absolutamente decepcionante. Desde el inicio, el servicio dejó mucho que desear, pero lo peor ocurrió cuando me di cuenta de que me habían perdido un vestido que dejé en la habitación. A pesar de que lo informé inmediatamente al personal, nunca recibí una respuesta clara ni solución alguna. He intentado contactarlos varias veces, pero no solo no me han ofrecido ningún tipo de compensación, sino que ni siquiera han tenido la decencia de disculparse o darme una explicación sobre lo sucedido. La falta de profesionalismo y atención al cliente es alarmante, y la situación se volvió aún más frustrante debido a la total indiferencia por parte de la administración. No solo me dejaron sin una prenda valiosa, sino que también me dejaron sin respuestas ni apoyo. No recomiendo este hotel a nadie. Es una lástima, ya que las instalaciones son buenas, pero la experiencia general fue completamente arruinada por la falta de responsabilidad y atención.
