Was only here one night on business. Overall really good. Room was clean, house is cool and really close to downtown, courthouse, outlet mall, border, etc. Shower didn't have hot water but Beto corrected by letting me shower in a room down the hall, hostel-style. Honestly, it was 103 F outside so didn't mind the lukewarm shower. Will stay here again.
I loved the old home and the decor. Very well maintained and groomed. The balcony is a great place to sit and watch the sunrise and bird watch. The room was large and clean. I wish I had more time to stay and just relax at the house.
This is a very pretty building with large rooms but furnishings are sparse. No dresser, desk or even luggage rack. My over night bag, purse & incidentals were mostly on the floor. Comfortable bed & good water pressure. Biggest thing is website says there is parking. That is not true. Only parking is on the street with enforced meters.
All was well until the one of the owners came into my room and saw me naked. And then instead of leaving he continued into the room and was trying to look at my private. I literally had to tell him to get out
really spectacular mansion b&b, room and main areas amazing. hotels.com incorrectly stated breakfast, which is only included on the weekend. there’s nothing to do in laredo but if there was i would stay there for longer.
If you're tired of the cookie cutter norm mid-range hotels...try Laredo Mansion. It's unique and beautiful. Stayed at Christmas and I appreciated the the tasteful decorations. Only 4 rooms, a shared use kitchen and common lounge area in a mansion. You'll feel like 1 of the family and mix it up from the mundane.
Solo 4 habitaciones, lindo, confortable, te dan el codigo de acceso mediante llamada telefonica asi que si eres viajero internacional asegurate de tener telefono a para llamar dentro de USA.
Beautiful old home downtown with a BnB style setup. Stayed in the Mexican Suite and it was beautifully decorated, A/C was perfect, and had access to a nice balcony overlooking the street. Breakfast included on weekends, but would be nice everyday for a truer BnB experience. House was quiet, bed was soft and comfortable. Great location.
Cons: Parking can be complicated during the day, shower was a bit small (but expected with a house this vintage)
Overall great stay.
If you have business or need to be in downtown Laredo I highly recommend this property over the “box” hotels just outside of town. Convenient, gorgeous, clean, and quiet—except watching and hearing the wild parrots roost at sunset.. a bonus. Check in was self and seamless.
Check in wasnt good I was charged twice and when asked for some type of confirmation nothing was given.

It was an interesting place and area. We knew to expect an older house. That’s why we booked it for the character and charm. Very beautiful house but needs a facelift on outside. Common areas inside were beautiful. There’s no check in desk nor check in. It was a code to get in and I had to call the number. It would have been nice to receive an email or note with instructions, amenities and how to use. The site said onsite parking - it was street, which is fine but update that. Hard to park during the day due to businesses around. The site said breakfast included - it wasn’t, unless it was weekend. So update that. The site said towels - we didn’t have any. Luckily we had some beach towels in the car. The AC was off when we got there so it was very hot in the room. We had to wait to cool down. The AC was one of those noisy wall units which is fine cause it drowned out the sound of the train that is very close by. The mattress needs to be replaced as does the pillows. We liked the style of the room and the old furniture but it doesn’t mean the mattress and pillows need to be old too. The person we talked to on phone, Beto, was really nice and so was the housekeeper. It was a good stay, just wished we knew more things and that way, we knew what to expect.
We had a delightful weekend at Laredo Mansion. We are must thankful for the hospitality the host offered the minute we arrived until the very end of our staycation! The House is fully equipped with all the necessary amenities and the breakfast from Rodriguez bakery was a nice touch. All this and more makes for a well deserved romantic stay.
The French room is a must... with a beautiful balcony overseeing the Laredo lights and experiencing the cool Laredo breeze.. we will most certainly stay here again.. and share this hidden gem with others.
