I want to be fair. this is a budget hotel.
The main issue was the excessive street noise. we checked in and within 10 minutes checked out.
If all you want is a bed with little expectation to sleep then this will work
I'm not sure if this was the normal service for this hotel or if, by some coincidence, something was wrong, but definitively this was not an reasonable stay. First, it took forever for the girl to let me check in. She needed proof of payment, but as hotels.com app and even the printed reservation was in Portuguese, she had some difficulty understanding. Come on, how can't you know if this was pay or not? Something not working well here. Then, when I finally was able to go to the room, I went quickly to the WC, as I urgently needed it. To my surprise, the WC was all dirty and wet, and there was no toilette paper. I went downstairs, to the small reception, and ask if they could clean the WC and give me toilet paper. I could not believe when they told me they were out of toilet paper... I asked them to go to another room and take some, because I really need it LOL. On other topic, wifi just works on the small reception, that does not has a place for you to sit. In fact, there was a frame of a sofa, but just the wood frame. The second floor seemed to be on renovations. The third floor had a small lobby with frames of sofas (no cushion). The only good think about the hotel is that the bed was comfortable and the AC worked just fine. It is ok for 1 night stay, on your way to someplace else. Furthermore, I've noticed a sign where this hotel would rent rooms for 4 h periods. This somewhat tells you what type of hotel this is. Definitively, a bad choice.
