Room had a hole in the wall, dated and poorly patched shower wall. The door in the cabinet that housed the refrigerator was broken apart and hanging on the hinges. There was also a pile of wood shavings on the carpet nearby. Water cooler in lobby was never refilled. However, bed was comfortable and room was very quiet.

The room 116 was clean. Staff was courteous but only until it was time to leave. My receipt indicated checkout at 12pm. Multiple women started harassing me to get out immediately at 11pm with a knock on the door & phone call when I was already packing. They rushed me so much and practically demanded extra charges on my credit card. Now my sterling silver ting inlaid with turquoise is gone. It was sitting on the bathroom countertop. No one called me about the ring. I did not realize it was gone until an hour after I left.

Everything was fine except the elevators weren't working and we had a lot of stuff to bring in and out, so it was a lot of trips up and down steps. We didn't get a chance to try the pool, it seemed to be operational, but didn't see anyone in it. Breakfast was pretty good, lots of waffle topping options. Staff was very friendly.

We had a wedding to attend in the area and found the Hampton Inn a clean, satisfactory place to stay. Staff was quite nice and helpful. The inn was well stocked with incidentals if needed. Beds were comfy, nice linens. I found it somewhat overpriced, however nothing was disappointing.
