I liked the scenery and the natives but as far as the staff they're not friendly at all to natives or people of color. Its sad because its very costly to go there and then to be treated like an outcast.. I would not recommend people of color to go because they don't want you there and the guest there will treat you like your invisible, only the natives will be welcoming

This was the most gorgeous resort I have ever stayed in. and I have been to a lot of 5 star resorts. The grounds were like tropical magic, everything was pristine and luxurious. The service was impeccable and the food was outstanding! Larry Ellison you need to open more hotels!

My wife and I had a great experience at Sensei Lanai as a stop over for a couple of days from Maui. The property is beautiful, service is top notch and the activities available through the hotel are fantastic. We couldn't have enjoyed it more.

The Sensei lanai property and hotel is increidble! This was one of the most if not the most relaxing stays weā€™ve ever had. Facilities are brand new and top of the line. Doing a spa treatment and time in the Hale is an absolute must. That being said, still a few kinks to work out with service level. We were dissapointed that the property boasts all of their activities (yoga, meditation, fitness etc) however had no spots open to participate. While I understand there are restrictions due to Covid, it would make sense to make sure to have enough options for guests of the hotel to be able to participate.
