Came up to winter hike some of the high peaks and this was a perfect spot. Very clean, seamless check-in/out, straight to the point motel. One of the better options out of the lot to choose from in Lake Placid. Will be staying here again.
Newly remodeled rooms! Comfy mattress, nice bathroom. Quiet and cozy.

Great location! Recent renovation. Very clean and surprisingly quiet. However very spartan. By simply adding a chair and a bureau to put some clothes in make a world of difference. Also a mini fridge would be a very positive addition.
The place is super clean and all new! It has two beds, a big TV on the wall, and a nice bathroom. The setup is minimal — no microwave, fridge, table, or chairs. A tiny investment in a small coffee table and basic coffeemaker would make a huge difference, especially since the restaurant opens only at 5 pm. Having fresh coffee in the morning would be really nice. The coffee at the restaurant is excellent, and the staff are very friendly.
The rooms are being renovated and mine was clean and like new. I think more room improvements are coming as I'd describe it as 'spartan'. I only needed a nice clean bed and great shower after a day of hiking and biking and this was just fine.
Newly renovated and clean but only 1 comforter was provided for the two beds in the room. Had to argue with the person over the phone to provide another comforter for the second bed. It was delivered 20 minutes later. The rest of the stay was uneventful.

Great, recent renovations to room and super close to the Olympic attractions that brought us to town
I got there too late, the hotel texted me the door code.

Room was very clean. Would be nice to have a chair in the room, and a lamp or some way to dim the overhead lights. A hook in the bathroom for hanging clothes would be nice too. A shade for the back window would be good too for more privacy.
I had to pound on door to find someone to let me in If there was not a person there I would have had to sleep in my car in the freezing cold. The man said a code was sent to me for self check in. But nothing was sent. Poor customer service. Hotels.com and the property need to get their act together.
It was my fault that I didn’t realize that this was a motel, not a hotel and that the restaurant was closed. No coffee in the morning! We had problems with the lock but that was addressed immediately. Although the room looked recently updated and very clean, the room really needed different furniture. The mattresses on the beds were super thin. The beds needed blankets. There were NO chairs, no table to put things on and a big empty space under the huge TV for those furniture pieces! We had to walk sideways to get past a bed to get to the bathroom. Maybe a different bed layout? The heat pump was SO loud we had to turn it off in order to fall asleep! It was below zero outside so it was really cold inside too! I slept with my sweatshirt on with the hood up all night and my winter coat over the comforter. I know this was a budget motel, but with a few changes it could be a decent place to stay.
