"We were only able to stay one night, but our night at the Vallombrosa vineyard was very peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and kind and were gracious to bring me some emergency supplies. Although the property lies in a beautiful setting, it’s important to note that it takes at least 30 minutes to get to Lugano and the lake by car. "This Hotel is a MUST to stay in.As you drive up you think you are in a time machine as you approach this gorgeous edifice from another century.Th...e rooms are spacious and you feel as if you are either in a castle or a museum. Staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Located only a short walk from the ferrys to the islands.breakfast was out of thos world.Fantastic choices everyday with spectacular service.This is the Hotel to choose if you are going to visit Lake Maggiore.
