  • Lake George Steamboat Company offers a variety of tours and tour lengths on three different boats. This is the Mohican, their largest. The trip was about 2.5 hours, cost about $23 per person and traveled from the southern point of the lake to about half way north. There is a snack bar but I did not visit it. There is commentary talking about the history of the lake, area and some of the houses. It was a very relaxing and pleasant way to spend the afternoon.

Sehr schöne Anlage nahe bei Lake George. Die Besitzer sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer war gemütlich und super gepflegt. Wir waren zwei Nächte dort und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

We had a great stay at the Meadows this summer. Convenient location - a short drive to nearby towns with shopping and restaurants. The rooms are simple but clean and well stocked. The owners were amazing - always available to answer questions, provide recommendations, or have a chat! They are super hard working and are very proud of their property. They kindly let us have a later check out in order to take advantage of the sunny day by the pool. This is a great place for families (nice pool, each room has its own picnic table, many have fire pits) and anyone looking to enjoy the Lake George area.

The owners, Felix and Diane were superb hosts, very friendly and helpful guides. The rooms were clean and quaint and the grounds were well kept. We love the kitchenette and the fire pit right outside the cabin where we got to kick back and relax by the fire. The village was just a quick ride away.

Quiet nice place, rooms are located around centered small meadow with benches, picnic tables, grill, fire pits and the pool. Perfect for families with young kids. a few min drive to center of town (where all the restaurants and other tourist traps) , beach, grocery store. Owner is always around, eager to help and easy to communicate with. Rooms were a bit darker, but we stayed most of the time outside, exploring the area, on the porch or in the pool.

I loved how friendly the owner Felix and his family are. The grounds are not only well kept but they are very cute and uniquely decorated. I also liked the availability of seating located around the property. My daughter absolutely loved the pool the afternoon she came to visit and had fun playing with the other children. I plan on coming back for future visits and have also recommended this site to a few friends.
