This is a beautiful complex with different choices of units. We rented a full 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment that was gorgeous and very well appointed. Since our building was on a hill and a pretty long walk from the restaurants and beach, we had a golf cart which added to the fun! It’s about 15 min by car to downtown La Paz. At first they put us in a 3 bedroom 3 bath unit which was gorgeous but not ocean view. We had to stay there one night before switching to an ocean view. A little hiccup but not too much bother. We had great food at each of the restaurants and service was always great. The private beach club Cortés was soooo nice to hang out at! There’s a full service restaurant as well as service on the beach and a beautiful pool and hot tub. The only reason I rated this 4/5 is because of the construction. This is a growing area and there are multiple new buildings being built. We couldn’t hear it from within the unit but depending on where we were in the complex it could be quite loud. But even with that we really enjoyed our stay - it was exactly what we were looking for (minus the construction)

The residences are located right next to the Hotel Indigo and the marina, there are restaurants and shops around there and all the ammenities of the Hotel are accesible for the residences. You need to ask for transport as the Residences are on top of a Hill. They respond inmediatly and provide the service right away. The views from the Residences are outstanding!! quiet and nice pool.

Our unit was perfect for 2 couples, the view was amazing. Spent a lot of time on balcony. The resort was great with several dining options. We appreciated the small market, bought groceries for snacks and breakfast. We did couples massage in the spa and it was fabulous!! Hung out daily at beach club!! We loved our stay and we will be back!!! Get a golf cart for the property, do fun!

The room was nice and as pictured, that’s why it’s getting a star! However, during our entire 4 night stay, one of the bedroom toilet was closed to us. The front desk told us it was due to a leak from the condo above us. But for whatever reason, we were unable to use that toilet and the leak caused a horrible sewage smell to linger during our entire trip. This made it difficult to stay in that room at all, we had to sleep on the couch. We notified the front desk but all they did was spray the room. That doesn’t really solve the issue as the smell would just come back. They did not offer us any other compensation for this setback. Maybe even a complimentary housekeeping for one day would have been nice ($25 USD otherwise). Overall, I have to say it is a poorly managed company and I would mostly likely not book again. I had a much better experience staying at vista coral condos or playa de la Paz oceanfront from direct owners. This review is for the condos at vistamar. It can be confusing because it has other sections such as blue indigo hotel or las colinas. So future renters are aware, vistamar has its own gym and pool. Sounds great but the downside is, the pool is not heated. This mattered for us because in January, it was cold! Also, the gym is 24 hours but a third of the equipment wasn’t functional. Also, parking was very limited. It’s first come first serve and fits about 15 cars; which is not a lot for a huge building. The alternative is to park about 1 mile away.

The listing was misleading because it didn't show what building the room was in until after it was booked. The address listed is the hotel and it is far from there. There was no guaranteed parking and the apartment was not stocked well enough for a property with no services (not enough towels, no beach towels, not enough pillows, etc.). Also the pool and other common areas were in a state of disrepair.
