Cottage With Private Pool (shared with owners only) And Spacious Outdoor Area

A newly built modern one bedroom cottage. Set in private and secluded grounds. Wonderful views of the village of La Garde Freinet. Peaceful sun-lounging from early morning till well in to the evening by the private swimming pool with relaxing gardens, sun terraces and bbq area with ample room for alfresco dining. This accommodation offers affordable luxury in an ideal position close to all amenities but also secluded from other tourists situated in its own extensive grounds with ample car parking. Within easy access of the village shops bars and restaurants, twice weekly market and close to St Tropez with its exciting night life and beautiful beaches only about 20kms away. There are many golf clubs close by and it is also great for walking/ hiking holidays. We also have 2 double rooms available within the main villa for any extra guests that you may have. These rooms share bathroom facilities between them but cooking facilities are shared with the cottage. Each room is £80 per night, these rooms are only ever let to friends or guests of anyone renting the cottage who may desire extra accommodation.

I had a wonderful stay at this accommodation. Joanne and Lenny are truly lovely hosts – always kind and available whenever I needed anything. The place itself is beautiful and very well equipped with everything one might need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Highly recommended!

Bon accueil. Cottage bien sauf la douche vraiment pas propres. J’avais été séduite par les photos de l’extérieur sur le site Malheureusement toutes les photos ne sont que trompeuses Pas de Wi-Fi. Pas d’internet, pas cable satellite, pas de salle de sport, piscine non entretenue ,à moitié pleine ,bruit routière continu, aucune vu sur le village comme indiqué, piscine non éclairé le soir comme les photos l’indiquent.Ci - joint les photos. Propriétaires partis le mercredi en vacances jusqu'au lundi. Aucun aurevoir nous avons du nettoyer la piscine est-ce normal ?Propriété non entretenue . Les Descriptifs nin conformes . Mensonge. Pour le prix que nous avons payé ne les valent absolument pas. Vraiment déçu.

Lovely get away in quiet peaceful area

Our stay was near perfect. The location was everything we wanted. As my partner has stayed in this area before he knew where to look for a quiet and peaceful stay. This location is perfect at it is 5 minutes from the main town and about 30 minutes away from other sites. Joanne and Lenny were amazing hosts. Super friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed our stay and will most likely be back again.

Great place, great hosts, great holiday!

Lovely property with pool, outdoor dining under canopy - very romantic. The hosts couldn't have been nicer - welcoming and helpful. 2minutes outside La Garde Freinet - very pretty village with restaurants etc. Overall 5 stars!

Lovely holiday

Lovely property very private a home from home very dog friendly very close to the village with shops and restaurants. Jo and lenny the owner very friendly and would help you with places to visit and dog walks. My husband and i had a very relaxing 10days holiday the pool was great for cooling off and kept very clean will definitely be booking to go back.

Needs new shower room

The property has a shower room that houses an old cabinet style shower cubicle, the runners to the shower were dirty and rusty. No tiles on the walls just wall paper which is unhygienic. We really did not like using the bathroom facilities. For some reason they were not topping up the pool by more than a foot which meant the water level was below the filtration outlets, hence we did not use the pool. It was right next to the main road to LG Freinet so extremely noisy as it is a hill climb so we did not spend time around the property. The shower room needs completely ripping out and a new tray and cubicle fitted along with new sink and toilet and the walls tiling so that they can be properly cleaned. The rest of the cottage was nice and the owners very friendly and helpful.

Good for two

Joanne and Lenny were very helpful and informative hosts. Available when we needed them and not intrusive. We had a very relaxing week - property ideal for a couple wanting a quiet break with a short walk to the village.

Agréable séjour

Petit cottage extrêmement propre, fonctionnel, décoré avec goût et sans vis-à-vis, en bordure du ravissant village de la Garde Freinet à quelques minutes de marche. A proximité de toute commodité, jouxtant les chemins de randonnées et à l’écart des touristes. Proche de Cogolin, Port Grimaud, Saint Tropez. Même si pas adaptée pour faire des longueurs, piscine et espace extérieur convivial à partager avec les propriétaires très appréciés. Mon petit chien Pickle fut traité comme un roi ! Joanne et Len, propriétaires très sympathiques, accueillants et de bons conseils. Une belle rencontre. Take care :-)

Brilliant week

We (german couple, 59 and 55) had a brilliant week at Joanne's and Lenny's (english couple) villa. 5 minutes walk to the center of La Garde-Freinet, a living village with nice places for breakfast, dinner and drinks or ice cream. Only some 20 km to gorgeous beaches. And of course the villa's pool righ in front of the bedroom door. Our hosts, living in the villa, are lovable people, striking a perfect balance between leaving privacy and being ready for a chat or providing some sightseeing / restaurant recommendation. It is worthwhile trying their recommendations. They are unique and we enjoyed every single one. We will always remember this week, especially also the jolly last evening with its generous farewell drinks 😁.

Maison bien située pour visiter le coin

Joanne et Lenny sont des hôtes très accueillants et attentionné qui souhaitent surtout que l’on passe de bonnes vacances. Leur cottage correspond à l’annonce et est très bien situé à pied du village de la garde freinet et proche des autres sites à visiter. Nous reviendrons volontiers et espérons garder contact avec Jo et Lenny. Attention si vous partez avec vos chiens car le terrain n’est pas complètement clos qui pose un souci si, comme nous, vous avez un chien “curieux”. En revanche Jo et Lenny sont des supers dog sitters :) merci pour tous

Lastminute.Cleary!

We couldn’t have been made more welcome or looked after any better by Joanne and Lenny. Nothing was too much trouble for them; they advised on beaches and restaurants as well as lending us inadequately prepared travellers beach loungers and umbrella. The location is beautiful, the village lovely and the French Riviera is in easy reach. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

A Little Piece of Heaven

We are travelling back to the UK after a stunning 10 days here. Our first holiday without kids... this was a perfect haven to enjoy the sun, relax around the fantastic outdoor area, walk into the village for a drink, walk the dog, cycle, run or a base to explore the glorious Riviera. It couldn’t have been more perfect! The cottage is perfect for a couple and a dog... immaculately clean and has everything you need... we loved it.. after a bbq... snuggled up on the sofa, watching Netflix and drinking the local wine. We have stayed many times in France .. at many different regions and in many different types of property and I have to say that the hosts were outstanding... Jo and Len were wonderful... there if needed ... but made it feel like the place was ours. They were fantastic with Jasper our dog... he loved them and often wandered into their house to say Hi ... he didn’t want to leave. This is a beautiful property hosted by lovely people... I have no hesitation in giving it 5 stars. Thanx Jo and Len fit everything.

Never again!! The cottage, pool and area were not clean at all!

Mold in the shower and mushrooms in the pool. The grass was not riden off all week and you can see weeds all over the place. Bikes and dogs were not welcome. We loved La Garde-Freinet and its surroundings but the cottage and his owners were very disappointing. Also a lot of noise from street and owners when you are by the pool. They want to sell it and you can geel that. Jo and Len, please stop renting it and ripping people off!
