Clean & New

Unit is very clean, in good, newer condition. Conveniently located but hard to find as it lacks prominent signage to indicate you're at the right place; and has no "front desk" to check in at when you arrive which is problematic as its just a house in the midst of many others. There is a bar/club nearby that goes til 2:30AM each night. Pack ear plugs. The A/C worked well. Good base of operations for visiting the stites.

Pros: refrigerator, 2nd floor (bars on windows, blinds, and locks on windows/doors), parking, A/C in the bedroom, additional blankets, towels provided, sugar, tea/coffee and basic cooking utensils. Lots of facecloths in the bathroom. Soap dispensers. Geckos (they were cute). Walkable to downtown/restaurants. Kind hosts. Responsive and proactive - replaced towels, and recommended driving through Rio Celeste to get to the location from Liberia airport as it’s a safer roadway. We understood afterwards and really appreciated the tip. Easy check in and out. Safe area with police monitoring. Park across the road. Fast wifi for 2 devices. Walkable to restaurants/downtown. Luggage holders off the floor. Clean. Cons: shower - only able to get it lukewarm at best. No fan in the bathroom. Probably an insufficient amount of towels blankets for a party of 4. Would have liked to have more hand towels as ours got saturated quickly. Location was harder to find, but they sent a picture to help us identify the house. Dog barking most of the night nearby (out of their control) Massage included as per Expedia add, this was a mistake and they advised they will fix.

Great locatioon, accommodations, exceptional hosts

We had a wonderful time. Hikda and Dani were ex eptionally gracious and accommodating, even when we misplaced our keys! I stay in many differnet types of lodging in Costa Rica, amd I bring tourism clients, and this one is now high on my list of places I must return.
