"With the remote location & nothing nearby open on our arrival day of Sunday perhaps consider a welcome basket on arrival with a few basics-coffee, milk, bread? Although there was no internet due to circumstances beyond the owner’s control for a few months we were not notified until 2 days prior to arrival so researching transportation, food delivery etc. which made things extremely difficult. A vehicle should not be just a suggestion.. it should be a MUST! "

"The Chateau looks charming and stunning to look at but unfortunately that was as good as it got. The apartment needed a seriously good clean, dirty/stained cutlery. Dishes that needed wash. Bathrooms stained.While the other facilities are good it was completely let down by the lack of cleanliness.The advertised swing and seesaw were broken and the pool had so many insects kicking around it wasn’t pleasant to swim in. The patios outside the apartment was in serious need of weeding and therefore again not relaxing to sit in. Due to this we spent the vast majority of our time away which was not the original plan. Very disappointed unfortunately. "
