Don’t walk run to book this hotel! From the time you enter the lobby to how beautiful the rooms are it’s the best room I’ve ever stayed in. We travel a lot we never have a comfortable bed anywhere but here. The bedding was fluffy and the lighting was so cozy. I can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay here.

I feel in love with Kyoto because of the hotel the atmosphere and the workers were amazing super helpful and in a great location if it’s your first time traveling to Kyoto. I traveled with my son and we got around perfect

The best hotel you could wish for in Kyoto. Excellent Gion/historic district location. The room was very comfortable. I felt like I had definitely experienced Japanese style interior design. Glad I stayed here. Definitely would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is great as well as the room and facilities. Their spa facility which guests can reserve for a reasonable fee. Everything is great except the breakfast menu is limited. Their staff is also very friendly. We would come back again!

Great hotel. Perfect location. I was able to walk to a ton of areas. Super clean. Rooms nice. Free laundry which was awesome!. 4th floor lounge was cute. It’s a very chill vibe. Not much going on inside the hotel as there’s no bar or restaurant but it’s very peaceful, clean and great rooms…pretty bathrooms too! I’d highly recommend.

We absolutely loved the hotel. Great location, very quiet inside away from the tourist crowds and yet very easily accessible to old temples and shrines and shopping. The staff was great, room very nice and comfortable. Would stay there again!

Great location. 5 minutes to the right was one area and to the left, another. Property is beautiful and so quiet. A great reprieve from the busyness of Kyoto.doesn’t look like much from the street but … thru the curtain is a beautiful oasis.

A lovely, serene hotel in the middle of Gion. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The fourth floor lounge and the private onsen rooms are great as well.

This hotel was very nice. The staff was very friendly. It wasn’t too far from everything. I would say about 15-20 min away. The laundry was okay. It kinda stained some of my white clothes. But I won’t put the blame on them. Just beware. Overall great stay and would def stay there again. I also did the private bath (both). They were decent. Relaxing.

Probably the best hotel we ever stayed at. Everything was amazing, clean, friendly staff and the hotel is so beautiful. Coming back next year but more nights !!!
