We returned to Sanco Inn because they made our two trips to Nagashima Spaland fantastic. We rode rollercoasters the whole day and went to the excellent onsen.

This hotel was right beside the train station so it made for easy transfer to and from our travels. The staff were exceptional!! The breakfast was a nice perk. We even had a selection of additional pillows we could choose from.

Typical Japanese business hotel. Clean but small. Meets all the basic requirements without any fanfare. Very conveniently located across the road from Kuwana station, and very close to many restaurants and bars.

It's in a great location, right by Kuwana Station. Easy access to the bus to go to Nagashima Spa Land. The room itself was pretty standard. What I didn't like, was the fact you don't have control of your own airconditioning. Maybe I missed it when reading up on it or something, but I was sent a message after I had already paid saying that you don't have control of the aircon. I was disappointed because Japanese summers are super hot, and after sweltering out in the sun all day, I just wanted to blast some cold air for a bit to cool down. I struggled to sleep in 29 degree heat as well. And on the note of sleep, the bed is rock solid. I'm a side sleeper, and lost all feeling on whatever side I slept on. I did like that they let you choose a pillow for free, but I wish it was coupled with a slightly softer bed (even just a thin cushion would have helped). The staff were super friendly and breakfast was good.
