Unbeatable location for the price. Great value. Many facilities like sink and toilet are shared but the facilities are clean. Room is basic but contains necessary items and furniture for one or two night stay. I would recommend this place to travellers who want to experience Kusatsu on a reasonable budget.

It was super close to the bus terminal (about 1 minute walk) and very close to Yubatake Onsen (town center, about 5 minutes walk). They provide wooden clogs which I find useful for going around and spontaneously dipping my feet into one of the many free foot Onsen pools.
