  • Welcome to The Kure Beach Treehouse, a peaceful coastal retreat tucked among the trees at the end of a quiet dead-end road. If you are looking for privacy, easy beach access, and a relaxed, no-fuss beach stay, this is it.

    Just a quick 2 minute walk (.1 mile) takes you to the beach access at Davis Street, directly across S. Kure Beach Blvd. Spend your days by the ocean, then come back to unwind on one of the private balconies or the secluded back deck surrounded by nature.

    This 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom duplex-style townhome offers a comfortable layout across multiple levels. The first floor features a queen bedroom with its own balcony and en suite bathroom, plus a second queen bedroom with access to a full hall bath. The galley-style kitchen with breakfast bar opens to the living and dining area, with large windows that bring in plenty of natural light. Streaming TVs are available for relaxing evenings in.

    Upstairs features a loft sitting area with a queen sleeper sofa, along with a third floor bedroom offering a queen bed, private balcony, and full bathroom, providing plenty of space for everyone to spread out.

    You will also enjoy a covered carport with tandem parking for 2 to 3 vehicles and an outdoor shower, perfect after a day at the beach.
    Located just a 3 minute drive to the Kure Beach Fishing Pier, local restaurants, and shops, or an easy bike ride if you prefer. Check out Fort Fisher and NC Aquarium just down the road.
    This is a true NC Beach Cottage, nothing fancy, just clean, quiet, and set in an unbeatable location.

Cute and convenient!

This house is very roomy and so close to the beach. It is not luxurious, but very comfortable. It is perfect for 3-6 people and you will not feel crowded. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The Tree House

My family loved the property the area, and the proximity to the beach. Overall we loved the few days we stayed for the week of Independence Day. A few cons, some of the tv remote controls had dead batteries, not a big deal to the adults but the younger kids needed it. The garbage has not been dumped for awhile, we were not there long enough to take the garbage to the street. Not a big deal for us, because there was still enough room in the dumpster for our trash. I’m sure it will be taken care of before the next guest arrive.

This place would be so much better if it had new furniture and a new coat of paint! The beds are very uncomfortable and so are the sofas. The sofas actually smell awful. The bathrooms and showers were super clean! And the walk to the beach was a quick and easy! Probably won’t stay here again till some upgrades are made.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Check-in was slightly delayed- we got in about 4:30- but that was fine. We loved the trees around the duplex and the back deck. We stayed in the bedroom on the main level, so everything was easily accessed. Restaurants were a short bike ride away, and the beach a short walk across the main road.

I would stay here again after some upgrades.

Decent Budget Beach House

Good communication, but definitely felt like we were dealing with the property management company vs owners. The house provided what we need but felt "budget". Walls need paint, older furnishings, some of the bedding was uncomforably old, all the pillows were worn and thin, and not in the most obvious places, towels were also older and we were short enough beach towels - coming from the west coast, this was a need. It would have been awesome to have beach chairs or blankets available. AC worked well, but all the fans were noisy.

Plenty of towels, blankets, and dishware. It was less than a 5 minute walk to the beach. The property has dated (but working) fixtures and furniture. We were a little frustrated at arrival. We arrived at 4:15 for a 4pm check in only to find the driveway blocked by workers working on the neighboring unit and it took them 15 minutes to move their trucks. When we entered the property, the cleaning staff was still working on cleaning after the last guests. We did not get to enter the property until 4:50. Cleaning staff did a good job though.
