"The staff could not be more helpful: reception, concierge & house-maids in particular. I had a top floor room with excellent views over the harbour so that was a real plus. The bed was huge (King size) and firm and I was able to have firm pillows delivered quickly to my room on request. There were plenty if fresh towels and good shampoo/conditioner/body-wash in the bath-shower. My room also had a useful fridge, air-conditioning and they even provided a handy adapter for the Hong Kong electricity plugs. I used the YMCA 25m indoor pool as a hotel guest (free) and found it easy to find a decent lap lane daily after 9am. (There is also a well equipped gym, but I did not need it.) The lifts were responsive and did not delay me at any stage. I think the hotel is starting to look a little tired or dated compared to the nearby competition, but it is of course much better value-for-money. I would prefer a separate shower (i.e. not in the bath), but they provide a non-slip mat and it was OK. I did not use the cafe or restaurant, but there are so many others nearby to try as well as so many new shopping malls within an easy walk as is the MRT and the ferry terminals."

"Great location. It is close to MTR, bus stop, shops and restaurants. There is drop off laundry shop across the street. from the hotel. Air conditioning worked well. Both housekeeping and front desk were very helpful. The hotel breakfast was just okay. I would recommend checking out a cha chaan teng instead or go to the bakery close by to get pastries for breakfast. Ladies' market and Fa Yuen street is close by. I would definitely stay here again."
