The villa with the plunge pool was a dream… and the pool were jaw dropping. The food is great- hospitality was amazing. I recommend more cocktail/wine options. Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful resort with pool. Very relaxing time. The staff were always available to help out. I would definately recommend this place but olease take note its a bit out of town so a s ooter rental or car woykd makenit better for your visit.

Tres dommage car c jolie le personnel tres gentil je trouve scandaleux que la suite avec piscine privée la pompe et lumière éteint a 22h . balneo ne fonctionne pas , a 20h tout ferme restaurant et mini bar . loin du centre par la plage comme par la route .

Ein wunderschönes Resort mit traumhafter Pool Villa. Das Personal ist super freundlich, konnten vor Checkin Zeit unsere Villa beziehen. Die Poolbar ist mega toll, Frühstück wird auf eigenen Wunsch angerichtet. Roller mieten im Hotel hat super geklappt.

The Villa with pool is great

Very nice villa's and friendly staff

We stayed for a week in a villa. Very nice with comfortable soft bed, a bath and outside shower. The room was kept very clean. A lot of pools and it was never really crowded. Very friendly staff. Some of them don't speak the best English, but they were always very willing to help.

Schönes Hotel in toller Lage

Wir hatten eine Luxury Pool Villa für 5 Tage gebucht. Nachdem wir unsere Buchungsunterlagen vorgelegt hatten sagte die Dame an der Rezeption uns, dass etwas mit der Buchung nicht stimme. Die Villa sei nicht verfügbar und das Hotel sei ausgebucht. Die Dame war sehr unfreundlich und augenscheinlich mit der Situation überfordert. Dann hat sich Mister Babu der Sache angenommen. Wir bekamen erst einmal Getränke und nach kurzer Zeit kam Mister Babu mit einem Vorschlag. Wir sollten 2 Tage ein Zimmer mit Pool bekommen und danach die gebuchte luxury villa. Mister Babu war sehr freundlich und hat sich für den Fehler entschuldigt. Als Ausgleich hat er uns ein Dinner mit Gertänken an Songran (thailändisches Neujahrsfest) angeboten. Wir haben das Angebot angenommen. Die nächsten Tage hat sich Mister Babu jeden Tag bei uns erkundigt ob alles ok sei. Die Luxury villa hat einen eigenen Infinitypool mit tollem Meerblick. Die Hotelanlage liegt an einem sehr steilen Hang. Es gibt einen Fahrservice zu den Villen.

Was a lovely stay

We stayed in the luxury pool villa room and it was amazing. The view was overlooking the beach, the rooms were clean and quite large as it is double story. The views from every window were just absolutely amazing and private pool was also awesone. Only downfall, our aircon was not good at all, struggled to sleep for 4 nights as it was too hot in the room. The workers came to fix it 3 times and still no fix, this ruined our sleep quite a bit, we complained at checkout and they offered us a 50% discount on our room service fee which was ok! Though other then that the resort was pretty amazing. Not much of a variety on the room service food.

Best place I have stayed in Thailand

You could not ask for more. The free upgrade to a villa was the start to a fab three days. Staff were so friendly and relaxed. Scenery is amazing. I will go there again. Thanks to everyone at Bhundari for a wonderful time.

Was a lovely place, very steep. They do have a buggy to take you around. View was lovely. The tourists staying were mainly Asian.

Villa con piscina ottima

Ho soggiornato in questo resort con mia moglie per 8 notti: villa con piscina privata e vista oceano. Il trasferimento dall'aeroporto chiesto direttamente all'hotel è molto comodo, in pochi minuti ci siamo trovati in hotel e mentre ci registravamo in reception con "drink di benvenuto" le nostre valigie venivano portate in camera. Veniamo poi trasportati direttamente in camera con apposita "macchinina". Nulla da dire, camera grande, bagno molto spazioso, grande patio con piscina privata e vista su piscina del resort alle spalle della quale si vedeva il mare... la nota negativa è che la nostra villa (5105) si trovava sulla strada principale del resort, e quindi un po' rumorosa durante gli orari di spostamento delle persone (colazione ad esempio) e con poca privacy visto che gli ospiti della piscina praticamente vedevano tutto quello che accadeva nella stanza, a meno che di non chiudere le tende. Per questo motivo abbiamo richiesto un cambio camera, e compatibilmente con le disponibilità siamo stati trasferiti (non per tutte e 8 notti, ma per le ultime 4). Seconda camera bella come la prima, con il vantaggio di dare direttamente sul mare, quindi perfetta. Staff del resort gentilissimo, qualsiasi richiesta è stata esaudita. Il Bhundhari è diviso a metà dalla strada ma c'è 24 ore su 24 un addetto che in caso si debba passare da un lato all'altro ferma il traffico e permette attraversamento in massima sicurezza. Ristorante nella norma. colazione eccellente.

Sää oli todella kamala ja tulvat olivat pahimmillaan samuilla vierailumme aikana. Onneksi hotellimme oli viihtyisä joten tekemistä riitti. Huono puoli oli että emme päässeet nauttimaan hotellista ja ympäristöstä erittäin huonon sään vuoksi. Hotelli oli myös erittäin turvallinen tulvan aikana, koska se sijaitsi rinteessä niin hotellimme ei tulvinut lainkaan. Erittäin kaunis paikka, suosittelen.

目の前にビーチ！海も砂も綺麗！

とにかくビーチが近いです！ 海の透明度はそこそこ。天候と風によってはもっと綺麗なんじゃないかな。 ビーチ前のバーも充実していますし、海とホテルで一日中ゆっくりしたい日も困りません。 部屋の広さ綺麗さも、このお値段ならコスパ良しだと思いました。 栄えているチャウエンビーチエリアまでは少しありますが、タクシーを少し走らせれば行けますし、なにより帰りの空港が近いです。

Koh Sumai Gem

This is a little gem hidden away from the hustle and bustle of Chaweng, yet not a far taxi drive for shopping and eating the most amazing food or sitting street side sipping a cocktail watching everyone go about their business. The hotel itself may be a tad dated but the staff who by far are the most friendliest staff I have encountered on my travels more than make up for it.

Do not stay at Bhundari Spa Resort

Do not stay here. The food is terrible. Our friends got food poisoning. The room layout is terrible and are dark. Showers are outside and you get bitten by mosquitos. Not enough staff on site eg no one manning the bars, pool towels left out from previous day. Staff unfriendly. Room maintenance poor didn't even refill toilet paper without asking.

Nice place to unwind

dedicated and polite staff, always willing to go the extra mile,special mention of Mr babu - asst mgr operations, who made us feel comfortable especially after a tiring flight, patiently provided clarified all our questions on the property and the town. All said and done its a beautiful and sprawling resort

Privat pool og morgenmad i top

Vi tilbragte i starten af juli måned 4 dage på Resortet - som vi tidligere i 2011 har besøgt. Det var en blandet oplevelse - god service fra morgenmadsrestauranten som er virkelig god - medens service fra mange øvrige fx housekeeping bestemt ikke var imponerende. Stedet begynder desuden at trænge gevaldigt til en renovering. Sammenlignet med de øvrige steder vi benyttede var dette en skuffelse i forhold til prisen
