Ryokans in Kodagu

"We stayed in one of the villas and it was great. The wood was newly polished and the whole room looked newly renovated. The bathroom was amazing with a sun roof at the top which lights up the whole bathroom and makes it look huge. The food was great, exceeded expectations since we saw some reviews complaining about bad food. If its a long weekend or something like that, expect a lot of crowd so meal times get crowded but nothing too bad. The only problem we faced was commuting from the villa to and from the reception since some villas are quite far away. They have a buggy and bus service but it takes time to come. So it can be a little inconvenient but overall not a big deal."

"They charge for a 5 star experience and provide you with a 2 star experience. Everything is too expensive for the facilties that they provide. The place and location is good, rest everything is just mediocre. "

"The indoor pool is nice an temperature controlled. The food is decent. Accessibility within the resort is a bit hard."

"The resort is on an inclined hill. The restaurant is right on top. Senior citizens like me found it difficult to go up and down. The food and restaurant staff were very professional and the quality and the quantity of the food served from breakfast to dinner were excellent."
