"Overall, this hotel is very average. There were a few positive and negatives. I’ll start with the positives. After asking for water and toiletries, they were eventually provided. They let me shower after checkout and stored my bag, which was nice! The room is very average, but there was a gap above the door that didn’t shut all the way which let bugs in at night. "We really enjoyed our stay in the lagoon paradise resort and even decided to stay one day longer than initially planned. You can enjoy the breakfast (as well as dinner) in the nice beach restaurant with a great view. We booked a cabana which was located near the swimming pool. We would definitely recommend the hotel to anybody who visits Tangalle! Special thanks also to the staff (especially Weerasena & Thisara) who were more than welcoming."

"I had top floor and the view of Mirissa beach was spectacular! Location is excellent, right across the road from the beach and surrounded by heaps of restaurants and shops. Breakfast was excellent and had plenty of variety, good mix of western and local cuisine. Few minor issues but not enough to lose a full star for this review, perhaps 4.5 stars if you made it this far. Would stay again if i could secure a high floor, room 506 is prime! "
