The owners of Ocean Dream are pleased to share this much sought after end unit in beautiful Duck. Because of the unique placement of Ocean Dream you will be able to enjoy unobstructed ocean views from the front wall of windows or sunrises from your own private back deck.

Get ready to relax in this quaint 1-bedroom, 2 full bath condo located in building B of Colony by the Sea. Just the right size for a small family or couple's retreat. This ocean-front development boasts private boardwalks to the beach with covered gazebos. Also located within walking distance to the many shops and restaurants that the historic town of Duck has to offer.

Feel like staying in after a busy day? Prepare a meal in an essential loaded kitchen. Enjoy dining Al Fresco from your own private deck or the dining table, that seats 6, and has amazing views from a wall of windows.

Community amenities include an outdoor shower and restroom, pool, playground, tennis courts, basketball court, charcoal grills with a courtyard area that includes picnic tables. There are also app/coin-operated laundry facilities located under each building. The 2 community boardwalks to the beach include a covered gazebo that offers another spot to sit and take in the wonderful views. Please note that there are no elevators onsite. This is a second-floor condo, but you will find the views and location are worth the stairs! All linens and bath towels are provided, along with starter toilet paper, paper towels, hand and dish soaps.

We also have a first floor 1 bedroom oceanfront condo just across the courtyard with spectacular sunrise views from the balcony.   • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The condo unit was the perfect size for two adults. It was clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The view from the deck was nice. The view from the front window not as good as it might have been now that new construction currently in process is partially blocking the ocean view. The weather wasn’t particularly cooperative for our stay, but that’s not the owners’ fault. Lauri was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to a small issue we encountered. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and accommodations.

Loved the view!!! Got a couple workouts in on the deck while the sun was coming up which was awesome. Room was perfect for the two of us. If our kids were younger and in toe Im sure they would have loved the bunks. Also loved the wildlife. Saw a lot of deer on the property, we saw the black cat and heard he "runs" the place. Also just across at the boardwalk shops we saw a river otter and her pup one evening which was awesome. all the years going to the OBX we never saw otters so that was a first. We are excited to see what you do with the property. Wed love to come back. Thanks !!

We had rainy, windy, cool weather most of the week, so didn’t get to enjoy the pool or the beach. Lots to do in the Duck area, including shopping, dining, etc.

The apartment was cute and very clean! Great balcony views of the water - a fun spot for morning coffee! It was great to have the choice of going to the beach or the pool (also very clean) - both of which are right downstairs. Short drive to many good restaurants. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful, relaxing week at Lauri and Greg’s condo. They were very communicative before and during our stay, which made everything seamless. The condo is in a prime location—right on the beach with an amazing view from the deck—and just a short walk or bike ride to town. It’s well stocked with everything you need for cooking, making it easy to enjoy meals at home. We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect beach getaway!
