Walking distance from kokura station with nearby mall and Uomachi Gintengai Street. Room is small but decent with amentities provided. Friendly staff assist with the check in as well as the luggage storage prior check in and post check out.

The view is very nice, the room can see the JR station. just 5s walking will arrive 7-11. 10mins walking to the ferry pier to Aino Shima (aka one of the cat island). Also easy to walk to the night market for dinner. abt 3 mins straight walking to JR station.

I understand that the property uses an automated check-in system, but when I arrived at the hotel there was nobody except me for check-in. I would have appreciated that the staff at the front desk, doing nothing in particular, instead of asking me to use the check-in machine, would have helped me for check-in and done it at the counter as it used to be done. I find very unfortunate to have to use such machine, which is only convenient for the hotel but not for the customer as it is time-demanding to register all personal information. Having people dealing with customers for such service is more human and more friendly. We are not robots.
