"We love going to Mystic Dunes. I talked my brother and his wife into joining us this year. As we near retirement I was interested in the possibility of purchasing a week or two. unfortunately after several messages to the property, not only were we not close but in different buildings and far away from the building i requested. This has left me wondering if we did buy, and wanted our children or friends to join us for a vacation that we would not be able to get them close to us. And as always the response is " Sorry we are really busy and fully booked" Again I am not sure why they couldn't at the very least put us in the same building so we could also enjoy our nights together."

"I enjoyed staying at this property due to its friendly staff, cleanliness, and convenient location. The room and bathroom was spacious. The only thing I didn’t like were the two sets of doors that could lead to the other adjacent rooms. The hotel has two buildings that are joined together by a first floor corridor. Since I was in the 2nd building, it was easier to park in the back lot. The lot is well lit at night but there’s a motel Nextdoor which is separated by a high fence. We did have to park far because we came back late at night the two nights we were there. So I just made sure to be aware of my surroundings walking from the car to the back entrance of the hotel. I felt safe, but you can never be too cautious. The food buffet was delicious and had a nice selection. It was well staffed and kept orderly and clean. I would love to stay at that hotel again during a staycation in Orlando."

"Room was dirty upon check in. The hotel fees and deposit was not what was listed at booking. $50 was listed I was charged $200! Did not get the room I paid for. I was downgraded to a lower end room and not compensated at all nor treated with respect for something I paid for! Pool was too crowded. Staff was not helpful and rude and the management was worse! I wouldn’t recommend this hotel and wouldn’t recommend booking with hotels.com either! "
